Review summary

The variety of possible things to do kept the time on the ship interesting and inviting. Whether it was Bingo, a poolside contest, oversized chess on the deck, going to the gym, grabbing a bite to eat, watching a musician, seeing second city, enjoying the casino, or hanging out in one of the many lounges...if you were willing to give it a try there were several choices to keep us occupied every minute of every day!

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Second only to Zihuatenejo but completely different. Definitely a party atmosphere!! Loved the shopping and found the shop keepers to be very helpful in calling other "friends" and shop owners to help us locate what we were looking for. Cabo Wabo is right in the center of it all and even if you're not a Van Halen fan, Sammy Hagar's place has great food and a downstairs bar area that was so much fun even at 1pm in the afternoon!! Live bands helped spice up the crowd, only regret is not getting to experience it well in to the evening!
Don't Miss: Cabo Wabo!!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Seeing WalMart and Sams Club just after stepping out of the ship was a bit of a disappointment but Puerto Vallarta was not, enjoyed the downtown area, the statues on the ocean and the shops that allow you to see true craftsmanship.
Don't Miss: Tequilla distillery tour and tasting! Off the beaten path, we took a tour that included handmade tiles and shopping along with the tequilla

Acapulco, Mexico

3 out of 5
Acapulco gave us a lot to see and do, we were surprised at how busy and dirty this city is but I imagine it's also the largest. Never felt unsafe, even took off on our own (after shopping) to see the cliff divers. The taxi's were an experience and brought us right to our destination with no haggling!
Don't Miss: Cliff divers...and Paradise club (bungee jump next door!!)

Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Mexico

5 out of 5
The bay between Zihuatanejo and Las Gatos was pristine and so peaceful we wanted to stay forever. Only downside was what we felt was too short a time to visit this stop! Went snorkeling and kayaking and it was a day well spent!
Don't Miss: Restaurant on the main strip where the guy sells beer out of a tub and there's a bar to the right when you walk in (all open) the food was beyond words!!

Pros: FOOD, stops made in Mexico, waitstaff (WONDERFUL)

Cons: That some of the restaurants required payment, inaccessibility of the gym
