Review summary
We much prefer Celebrity to Norwegian. Freestyle is not for us. It is impossilbe to get a resevation at one of the other "no charge" restaurants unless you call a day or 2 ahead, so where is the freestyle in that? The food is very subpar to Celebrity. The buffett never changed it's menu. Room service menu is VERY limited. We never got to know even one crew member by name since you never really have the same one twice, except for maybe your room steward. Rooms are not cleaned very well, dust and dirt on floor from previous guests. Our kids got rashes on their necks from bed bugs we suppose. The entertainment was good, but the Stardust Theatre was very uncomfortable, and you had to get there 1/2 hour early to get a decent seat. I really don't like not having a dress code. You feel overdressed or even underdressed at times. It's nice when everyone is on the same page. Pool area was OK, but no lounge chairs by the pool. You had to go up to the next deck to get a lounge chair, so it wasn't easy to just get a quick dip in the pool from your chair. We would not cruise with Norwegian again.Ship experiences
