The ship was great. It was clean and they ensured they everyone adhered to the cleanliness policy. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Food and Dining

Food was ok. There is a premium charge to eat at the higher end restaurants, which you are not aware of upfront. To actually pay a charge for soda is crazy, considering the cost of going on a cruise.

On board entertainment was great. Can't blame NCL for the excursions, since it its your choice.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
I was concerned about my daughter, who is 7, being entertained, but they had specific activities for children.

Service and Staff

Not sure I experienced above and beyond.

Ship Quality

Star is a good ship to cruise on

Cabin / Stateroom

Happy with the size of the stateroom. Problem was the location. We were on deck 11 and there were no rooms, but we heard loud noises every night. Try to avoid state room 11660

Best stop on the trip. Whale watching was great.
Don't Miss: There is a tram that goes up the mountain that you have to see the scenery

Nothing to see or do and the shopping is pathetic. Not sure why they stop there.

Took the Alaskan wild life experience excurision. Mesquito's the size of flies were everywhere. The excursion didn't live up to the price

Disappointed that I only saw two bald eagles and they were in an environment similiar to a zoo. Not much to see

Pros: On board entertainment, Freestyle cruising

Cons: Stop in Prince Rupert
