Review summary

The ship was great - well set up - Everything was clean - rooms were cleaned promptly and towels were available several times a day if needed. The decks, spas and all public areas of the ship were kept clean at all times. I loved the spa and gym - spa had a lap pool and a great relaxation room. I also liked the fact that you could remain in your room while waiting to disembark

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dining rooms were excellent and I found the food to be just as good as the four restaurants which you paid extra, which I would not do again - but I do not personally like the freestyle dining. I like to meet new people and cannot do that when dining as a couple or with your own group. I have met a lot of nice people when dining at the set times and with larger tables.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was great - the shps singers and dancers were excellent and really friendly. Also, the other acts on the ship were great as well. There is always something to do during the day with lots of programs

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Stateroom was on the 8th floor - and the decor was pretty much what I have experienced on ships of similar quality. Beds were comfortable and the set up of the bathroom and shower was great.

Ports of call

Acapulco, Mexico

5 out of 5
Loved the action in Acapulco, we visited Senor Frogs on the hill overlooking the bay - it was a great view at night. Good, friendly service and lots of fun

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
My favorite port - lots of great shopping. Favorite restaurant - "Andales"

Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Mexico

5 out of 5
Love the quieter laid back atmosphere of this port. Not there long enough to do much other than shop. Lots of shopping and friendly people

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cabo is tons of fun - lots of stuff happening on the beach with music and everyone having a great time.

Pros: The staff in every area were friendly and helpful

Cons: I really don't like having the different restaurants and having to make reservations in all but two of them. I personally don't call that freestyle cruising. I don't want to have to decide the day I get on the ship - what times I will eat and where.
