Make up your mind Norwegian!! Pre cruise online said somewhere that each adult could bring one (1) bottle of wine to be consumed in stateroom.. Put 2 in luggage. CONFISCATED via xray and opening inspection.. Had to pay corkage to drink. Bad taste in mouth and not from wine.. Investigating options.

I will never cruise on Norweigan again. Due to the salty food, not the best entertainment. small rooms with no storage for 2 people

No need to bring basic toiletries like shampoo,conditioner, body wash, hand wash or body lotion. The toiletries provided are of adequate quality.

If you do this itinerary departing from Rome, arrive a few days earlier as there is a lot to see. The port is very far away from the airport - at least an hour's drive or more, so keep this in mind when planning your arrival.

If you are family of four( we have 2 teenagers 13 yrs old) my advice will be to book 2 separate cabins interior if you are on limited budget,we booked inside family stateroom and since we were first time cruisers we realised we should have booked 2 separate cabins due to the inconvinience we had of having to share1 bathroom but ofcourse you have to book the cruise earlier in order to get the cabins next to eachother or if you can splurge than the family suite will be ideal and go for internet package as internet is .90ct a minute,very expensive.
