Review summary

Overall this is a good cruise itinerary however we only experienced half because of lack of Visa for Southern Ireland. Several other passengers experienced this ordeal, hence there is need for better communication about visa requirements for international passengers since visa to UK is not sufficient for this excursion.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
This was our worst cruise embarkation experience. We booked our cruise through America Airlines but we were not informed that we require separate Visa for Southern Ireland because we are Jamaican citizens. We were initially not allowed to board ship due to lack of visa for southern Ireland. Later we were allowed to board but had to sign an agreement to leave ship in Belfast and make personal arrangements to return to Southampton.

Sorry you had a bad experience, but having the proper travel documents is the responsibility of the traveler and not the cruise line or airline. The travel documents needed are easily found with a little research.
