Review summary
Cruised the western & eastern caribbean on the Spirit. Ship was smaller but just the right size for us. Food was very good. The main buffet and dinning rooms were good. The optional $$$$$$ were also good. Crew was friendly and helpful, especially our room porter, WIN was exceptional. Problems were the cost of gifts and drinks. A glass of wine and a beer was just under $20. including mandatory 18% tip. A ship tour was $79. (other cruises we have done were free). All tours were very expensive, most were over $120.. The worst was BRENT the so called shopping guru. We went to the shopping in port seminar, which we assumed was for real shopping, everything was for Diamonds International, which I am sure paid him a healthy commission. My warning is do not go based on price only
