Review summary

The ship:  3 (1-5 scale)

The food:  3.5

Entertainment:  4

Tortola - The Baths excursion:  4  ( but crowded.  Water temp okay)

Barry:  Bi-polar guy.  One night unbeatable.  Next night(s) seemed uninterested.

The Sound Machine couple:  4  very entertaining.

Big shows:  mostly decent.

Best leg contest:  2   Too many contestants and included kids in contest?

Karoke final night:  3.5

The Motown disco dance.  Booo  hisss:  1 out of 5.  It is a CD playing.  No disco on board.  Biggest disappointment.  The control room for the 'curtain room disco' only is equipped to play one (1) CD.  And, the songs chosen were not even the best of Motown.  No DJ getting the crowd going.  D.E.A.D.  Come on NCL...you can do better than that!

Dining rooms:  3.5  Food pretty decent.

Drinks:  5  Can get whatever you want and as strong as you want!  Good one NCL.

Ping pong tornament:  1  Instant death.  Over in 4 minutes.

Pool not open on nicest day and fairly calm sea.  Boo hiss.

Wait staff in bars:  4.5  Always smiling and joking.

Internet:  slow and expensive.

Game room:  5  Many unopened brand new games...monopoly, backgammon, chutes and ladders, checkers, chess, bingo, scrabble, dominos, card decks, and much more.

Back deck overlooking ship wake:  4.5   good view, but over the kids area.

Tendering at Nassau.  3

Age group:  Average about 65.  Few kids.  Few teens.  20 year old group, near zero.  I'm 61 and I felt young.

Running track:  skinny but doable.

Workout area:  4.  Decent equipment.  All maintained.

Response to broken things:  5  Net was missing from basketball hoop.  Fixed the next time I looked.

Pool table battery (battery to accept your swipe card $2 per game) was dead. Surface of table was good. Fixed upon request fairly fast.

Room stewards:  5

Engine room discussion:  1  It was a dorky slide show with only specs and no explanations of how things work.  I asked how stabalizers work.  Got a 10 second answer.  Had three other passengers ask me afterwords, "what did he say"?  No clue.  He was B.O.R.I.N.G. 1 out of 5.  One guy asked what causes the heavy loud vibrations in the back of the aft dining room?  Answer:  The sea.  Okay, smarty..can you elaborate?  boooo hisss

Restroom availability:  5  Seemingly everywhere.  However some smell of urine pretty bad.  NCL...have your attendants do more than check off the hourly inspections.  We can all see they are checked every hour...How about having them make it smell a bit better.  hint hint hint

More variety is needed. And, some events were just going through the motions. Ping Pong tornament, engine room overview. ...not so good.
