Review summary

MY HUSBAND AND I DECIDED TO TRY THE FREESTYLE CRUISING. IT WAS A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE FROM THE TRADITIONAL WAY. THE RESERVATION SYSTEM TOOK AWHILE TO UNDERSTAND AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT, BUT THAT WORKED. WE STILL DRESSED UP FOR THE SPECIALTY NIGHTS AS THAT IS OUR WAY TO SHINE. THE SHIP "SPIRIT" WAS A NICE SIZE. THE FOOD WAS NOT TERRIBLY DEFINABLE WITH CERTAIN LIKES OF OURS MISSING. BUT ALL IN ALL, IT WAS A FINE CRUISE AND THE STAFF WAS VERY COURTEOUS.

THE DOCK WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION SO WE WERE TOO EARLY. AN ONBOARD LECTURE ON THE WATERS AND BETTER OPPORTUNITY TO BEACHES WOULD HAVE HELPED.

We have cruised 3 times . Always loved loved it. As long as I'm not at home and at work you will Not hear me complain ;)

When we cruised on the Spirit in 2006, 2007 and 2008, there was plenty to do. It all depends on what you want to do and every night the Cabin Steward put the Freestyle Daily on the bed. Its a nice ship, different from the others since the ship was based in Asia and was not called the Spirit. It was called Super Star Leo. I'm happy I had the chance to sail in her.

Didn't care for this ship. There were not enough activities in my opinion. All staff were excellent though.

Freestyle? I have news for you, booking the cruise yourself IS the "traditional" way.
