Review summary
Wanted to just relax and not do too many offshore activities on this trip. This led to just staying near the ship and walking around for a few hours at each location. I had been to Roatan and Cozumel and knew what to expect. Costa Maya is a total tourist trap. Belize Cit is just plain nasty and does not look safe. Roatan had open sewage, starvings dogs and shopkeekers that tried to rip you off on the excahnge rate. Like most cruises there are lots of hidden fees. Nine dollars for a weak rum and coke! Internet access is way too expensive. $90 dollars mandatory tipping of the housekeeping staff per person, etc.. The water slide area is reserved for children. This is a pity since it was virtually abandoned by the kiddies oboard by the third day.Ship experiences
