A relaxing cruise

Sail Date: October 21, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The room was comfortable and practical, the partitioned bathroom was very functional. It was easy to navigate around the various decks. The crew was very helpful and polite. I was apprehensive that with the gratuities automatically charged that individual service would suffer which was not the case.
The freestyle led to a very relaxed atmosphere as there was no running around having to meet a time schedule. My normal working schedule is very hectic and the last thing I want is a vacation that I am running around to make a dinner sitting etc.

Pros: Free style dining and relaxed dress code

Cons: The endless hawking of raffle tickets and bingo

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? Yes!

Boston, Massachusetts
Great city, would have preferred the ship spending one night at port so there would have been a second day of siteseeing in this historical city.

The town was beautiful. We took the morning best of both worlds tour sponsored by NCL and the tour however was rushed as sitting in the seat directly behind the guide just prior to leaving the dispatcher whispered to the guide that the bus was needed for the afternoon and to cut off 20 minutes of the tour
Don't Miss: arcadia national park
Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts
Waste of time, not much to see, a three hour bus tour in old school buses of the island turned out to be a quick 20 minute tour coming and going without stopping and being dropped off for 2 hours to shop which was an hour too long. Felt we were dropped off to help the local stores liquidate end of season inventory.
