The Norwegian Spirit was a beautiful ship, and we were pleasantly surprised at how well maintained it was.

Food and Dining

We enjoyed the freestyle dining. We had our dinners in Windows each night and rarely had to wait for more than a few minutes to be seated. We had lobster two nights, and being able to choose Cooking Light dishes was a plus.

Entertainment

The entertainment offered was excellent. We attended several of the shows and were impressed with the quality. We wish we had been aware of the $10.00 limit on the crap table, as we would have chosen a different cruise if we had known. This was our ninth cruise and the first time we've run into more than a $5.00 limit.

Service and Staff

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We had expected poor service in the dining rooms because of the freestyle dining, but all of our servers were very attentive.

We thought the ship was well maintained, and the decor was more attractive than we had expected.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a balcony stateroom and thought it was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The only negative was a lack of drawer space. Our room was located near the elevators, which made getting around more convenient.
