I think the ship is/was a perfect size, I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff, they are enjoyable, upbeat and just overall friendly.

An older ship that has been nicely updated tastefully

The ship was very clean, but I was very dissatisfied in the food provided, there were very few options, and no real vegaterian options, in this day and age I would think you would have soy products. Also paying for a pizza is just cheap. Several times we went to the casual dining and they were out of many of the foods with no more coming. The quality of teh food was very poor especailly in the the Palace and Crossings dining places, even though teh Garden cafe was not much better. I will not be cruising NCL again, I will return to Carnival.

The ship was good size and the staff was wonderful it was our first cruise but won't be our last we will be cruising again with norwegian. We will be telling our friends to go with norwegian.

Very good trip,clean and well maintained boat,excelent and entertaining staff made this cruise wonderfull.

My husband and I traveled on the Norwegian Sky for our 25th anniversary. It was an experience of a life time. We loved nearly everything about the whole experience. We would go again in a heartbeat if it were financially feasible.

I have cruised almost 30 times and on NCL and most other lines. I recommended the Sky! I was shocked to see how unkept and run down the entire ship was. The ship was understaffed and the entertainment was really poor. I had been warned by other curise lover friends that NCL had really gone down hill but now I know for myself. I won't be cruising NCL again until I hear that they have changed. Shame on you NCL for even having the Sky in your fleet.

Staff were so friendly you really felt comfortable and welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even when staff were confronted with rude, (and usually inebriated) passengers. The easy going nature of so many of them, welcoming you often to meals with a guitar and singsong. The cabin staff were fabulous. Was fun to get back to your cabin after evening meals to find an animal made out of towels sitting on the end of your bed! And it was such a great value for money for us. We made a last minute decision to do this cruise ( 4 days prior to sailing) and benefitted from the extreme discount. We expected to be in the bottom of the ship, near the engine, and were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves on deck 6. I guess it was just a matter of which cabins were not sold beforehand. As the distance we covered on our cruise was not really great, sometimes it hardly seemed like we were even moving. There was hardly any movement which was great for those with any motion sickness tendencies. The ports were nice with Nassau very interesting, and only a 10 minute walk from where the ship was docked to the middle of the town. Great Stirrup Cay was lovely, and the lunch provided on the island was excellent. The staff can be highly commended for how well they organised this.

Will not sail with NCL again. Constant \"selling\"... Couldn't get to your room without being approached for art auctions, spa specials. I have been on many cruises and never experienced the harassment .

Our family just returned from a 3 night bahama cruise on the NCL Sky. We travelled with 2 teenage girls ages 15 and 17. We all had a great time. The boat left from Miami and was primarily full of people from south Florida, although we are not. Arrival and checkin was very smooth, and most folks gathered by the pool the first day where alcohol flowed and the band was great. By the evening the music was really underway and people were dancing poolside to the sounds of a miami DJ mixing club music. The second day was the private island. Absolutely beautiful. We rented a cabana. Totally worth it. Alcohol flowed all day and into the evening when the white hot party began. Everyone wears white and the pool deck was packed with people of every generation dancing to very loud club music. Many of the tunes seemed geared to the Latino population on board and folks were singing along and dancing to all the music. It is quite a scene. Alcohol is very prevalent on the ship and at this party, but the cruise personell seem to expect this and are watching to keep people safe. No one checks for underage drinking and although teens cannot buy alcohol, they are allowed to drink with a parents permission if they are over 18. In reality, no one is supervising anyone's age so if a teenager gets their hands on a drink no one will stop them. The last day was at Nassau. We shopped and then hung out poolside. The party that night was in one of the clubs and our kids had a great time. We did eat at all 3 specialty restaurants on board and they were excellent. Definatley worth the price. We all had a great time and would recommend it to anyone who loves to drink, people watch, and dance the night away.

We had people fighting next door to us, throwing stuff, banging doors, yelling obsceneties, nothing was done. Complained, got a cheese platter.

Although we were late boarding, due to Tropical storm Issac, the staff did amazing work getting us on the ship as soon as possible and having our rooms ready! I totally recommend taking a cruise for those that have not and highly recommend Norwegian!

Boarding the ship was fairly easy - staff were helpful and effective. The food was probably the best thing about this ship - there was a wonderful buffet and other dining options. As far as on board activities - there weren't many appealing/fun ones. If you're between 21-35, you would probably find this ship to be dull. As far as the Islands, they were beautiful with the exception of Nassau, which was dirty and congested. Overall I would give this ship a rating of 8 out of 10.

The ship was old and smelly. The cruise didn't seem to be very organized. Staff was polite however. During the dinner, staff didn't seem very focused on guess. I didn't like the fact that I was paying for these services upfront. When these services are paid up front, you don't get waited on as good. It was taken for granted.

Food was amazing! It was like eating at a 5 star restaurant the whole cruise. Will definately cruise Norwegian again!
