We have been on the Norwegian Sky for the past 4 years and the ship continues to be the nicest ship going to the Bahamas - We highlty recommend the cruise

We chose this cruise line specifically for the private island that was promised, but we were denied because of the wind. Since there is no guarantee to get what you pay for nor any compensation, I will never be robbed again! We were trapped on the boat, in a tiny room with a nine inch tv, no remote control. We did go to the Bahamas, which was fun, but was teased with time-limited fun, from 9 to 4:30pm. For a three night cruise, we only had seven hours of being off boat in Bahamas, which went by too fast, we could only do one tour of the city. This was my first cruise and maybe my last one. I expect to get what I pay for. I did not pay to be in a small room allday with nothing to do. There were some activities on board, but not enough for everyone. I packed a swim suit for nothing, I did not even see a beach. I should have just went to florida. 

Enjoyed the cruise, much better experience than last Norwegian cruise in 2010 when we cruised around South America.  The food and service were greatly improved.  The negatives on this cruise were that the public area were way to cold, the air conditioning was blowing well below what is comfortable.  The fact that you allow smoking in the Casino was a total turn off.  The smell in the Casino was nauseating and very heavy with smoke, The  smoking in the Casino is enough to make me not chose Norwegian again, I have cruised with Celebrity and smoking is only allowed in designated areas and never in the Casino. 

Food could have been better, not very fresh. Annoucements weren't very clear over loud speakers. Should have clocks in cabins, no concept of time in dark staterooms

very nice cruise, we enjoy the foods and the friendly way on board, no dress up for dinner, no reservation, the room was nice and the personnel very kind.

We took a 4 day cruise from Miami and we very disappointed. 

First the Miami port area is pretty nasty - dirty and everyone looking for a handout.

Then we go on the Sky, the ship was nice and we enjoyed our balcony and the service was good.

But the food was mainly warm or cold and the choices in the main dining room were less than stellar.  I have been on 7 previous cruises and had never been unable to get Lobster or Prime Rib until this cruise.  Also, they had a Steak on the menu every night they called a Rib Eye.  It was more like a sandwich steak, 1/4" inch thick that was brown when cooked not black.  The buffet on Deck 11 was a disaster.  It was poorly planned/designed, and the food was warm at best.

Disembarking was scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM but was delayed with no announcements.  Once it started it was a zoo.  Do to a new ship, our dock was moved from B to J.  They told us they'd have a shuttle to take us to Dock B, but they never announced that parking buses would pick us up outside Dock J.  We took the shuttle to Dock B as we'd been told and waited for an hour without being able to get a shuttle to our parking area.  We had to take a cab. 

Just not Happy with Norweigan.

THE SHIP -- OUR ROOM --THE FOOD AND FOOD CHOICES --THE SERVICE AT RESTURANTS AND IN THE ROOM ALL WAS GREAT. OUR PROBLEM WAS THE SHIP DID NOT HAVE THE TABLE GAME (LET IT RIDE) WE WERE TOLD THEY HAD IT AND IT IS THE ONLY GAME WE PLAY -- SO WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED. AND THE OTHER THING ON THE DOWN SIDE WAS GETTING OFF THE SHIP AT THE END OF THE CRUISE IT WAS A NIGHTMARE.  THANK-YOU FOR HEARING US. JOHN AND JUNE DUHAMEL 

WE LIKED THE PORTS AND ENJOYED THE BEACH AT STIRRUP CAY .

COMPARING IT TO OTHER CRUISES THE OTHER CRUISES HAD LET IT RIDE SO HARD TO COMPARE BECAUSE IT MAKES OUR CRUISE. WE NEVER HAVE HAD SUCH A HARD TIME GETTING OFF AT THE END OF CRUISE.

The only bad thing was the band and/or music was so loud that w coumd not relax on the deck...we had to leave

You can not bend over in the shower...but we know that is the ship..

If I was a food critic I'd be desimating this cruise line and its terrible selection and preparation. 

We had the exact same breakfast selection 4 straight days. Including the dreadful biscuits and gravy, greasy bacon slabs and I can't believe it's not eggs dish. 

No variety at all. No extended selection (unless you consider the same fruit plate option every day, which was the better option). 

Why do I have to pay 60$ on a ship I've already spent 500$ per person to eat at a upscale restaurant? Why don't you instead seek to lift the "regular" passengers dining experience too? 

The staff was friendly and courteous. It was the ships sole highlight. 

I'd choose Royal Caribbean or Carnival every time now. 

Overall the cruise was ok. The stateroom and ship were very clean. If you couldn't find somehting to do, you weren't trying. The next days events are in your room the night before. If you really need the staff, they are very polite and helpfull. Navagating the ship is not a problem, there are detailed maps at every elevator. Getting on and off the ship for whatever reason was a breeze. I only had one problem with the cruise. Our group used the Crossings dinning room four times, twice for dinner and twice for breakfast. Each time our experiance was worse. Service was very, very slow. There was almost no follow up, and fifty percent of the time the orders were wrong. The wait staff in no way anticipated anything we would need. (For the record, I ordered steaks for dinner, which were perfectly cooked). The buffets were outstanding. Very clean and well stocked. You can eat when you want, without wasteing any time. I really enjoyed the cassual cruise experience, you can dress nice if you want, but not necessary. 

Food was barely edible. Service and entertainment were fine. We are still waiting for the $25 per couple refund promised. The ship itself was in great need of refubishing as certain fabric furniture , especially in the showroom was visibly dirty and stained. Much of it should be replaced.

This was our first cruise with Norweign Sky and we would highly recommend this line.  It way exceeded our expectations! We're already planning our next one.  There are many excursions to chose from.  We chose the banana boat tour on the Grand Bahamas Island and the Sea Lion swim at Dolphin Encounters on Blue Lagoon Island

.  We'll have memories we'll always cherish!  The staff was extremely helpful and made our trip stress free.

No midnight buffet, food was terrible, DJ played same songs OVER AND OVER!!!!  This was my 3rd cruise my husbands 1st. I never got sea sick until this cruise. Breakfast was the best food on the ship. Drinks were decent Staff was NICE all staff! Balcony room was nice and roomy. This cruise ship is for an older crowd. We are in our late 30's.. If I ever do a cruise again I will stick to Carnival.

Had a wonderful time. Shows were great, but we did feel like we waited around before things would happen. Food was great, but in the 3 resturants had the same menu every nite not a veriety as other cruise ships. We didn't make reservations at the other resturants.  Loved meeting others and visiting with them from the states as well as other countries. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

3rd time on this cruise, it is a nice weekend getaway. The staff is very nice. The ship is starting to show it's age from the last refurb. The comedian was the same from last year.

My 3 night Bahamas cruise aboard the Norwegian Sky is just like the title says, very clean, fun, tasty and remakable!

If your looking for a fun and quick getaway to celebrate a special occasion between family and friends, this is the cruise for you!

The Norwegian Sky is a nice moderate size, perfect for a 3 day cruise! The staff is amazing, very clean rooms, plenty of fun activities, even the ambiance aboard this ship was great because of people were in a festive mood celebrating a special occasion with their friends and family.

I loved (Free style cruising), having the choice to dine where and when that convienced us the most, giving us the opportunity to catch a show or activity without stressing over a daily dinner reservation typically found on other cruise ships!

So far, Norwegian Cruise Line impressed me compared to other cruises I've done.

I was disappointed that when boarding the ship it felt like we were traveling through a maze instead of a grand entrance into the atrium. I did not feel the entertainment was very good, nor was the staff over the top friendly. I have been on 15 cruises and by far this was my least favorite. The first stop that we were suppose to tender into was Stirrup Cay but the waters were too rough so we had a day at sea. No alternate itinerary was provider for the cruisers and when asked if we would dock early in Nassau, the staff replied that it wasn't in the budget. I feel awful that this was my boyfriend's first experience cruising, I wouldn't cruise Norwegian again. 

Cruise was ok.  Relaxing but no WOW.  Food was fair except for evening meal.  There was a very limited menu and steaks had no taste.  Sorry NCL but I share what I experienced.  I have cruised with NCL for years and this may be my last.

I've been on several cruises but first time on Norwegian. The food was horrible and the people in the restaurants and cafe weren't very friendly.  The activities were good and my cabin Stewart was very accommodating.
