The cruise was ok but I had a major problem with the bathroom from the first day to the end of the cruise it kept leaking and the bathroom has a constant odor smelling like urine. 

This cruise was a great value for drinkers.

Maybe I shouldn't have been ordering fish, but all of my dinners were sub-par. The desserts were better. Dinner staff was nice, we loved our waiter Oliver. He was attentive, funny, and genuinely cared we were enjoying our meal. The buffets seemed like a potluck dinner without a unifying theme. But I guess there is bound to be at least one thing on the buffet you would like. The omelet station almost always had a long line (we aren't early risers on cruise time), but looked delicious! We never tried the sit down breakfast, but heard good things.

The beds were terribly uncomfortable and would un-make every time that I rolled over (multiple times a night, leaving the knotted corners in the middle of my shoulders). Although they do service the rooms twice a day, maintaining a fresh and full ice bucket. 

The staff around the ship were very nice. We had a great time at karaoke and the diverse crowd made it a great time. The bar staff at The Plantation Room (where karaoke is held) was also very kind. I didn't read until the end of the cruise that the bar staff aren't given a portion of the tip/fees we paid. I would have had some dollars with me to tip appropriately, had I known. Not many other people seemed to be tipping either. 

Can't comment on off-boat excursions, we stayed on ship because island time meant no lines for drinks and empty hot tubs! Our cruise was in early May, so we had a lot of college kids on our boat. Not sure if this is typical, but it did seem to draw a larger younger crowd on the ship than other cruises I've been on in the past. 

Had a fun, relaxing and romantic time on the Sky. The food was outstanding, and the drinks never stopped. Loved the private island and got some good snorkeling in. I would do this again

Being all inclusive with drinks and dinning was definitely a bonus! 

The ship was alive with music and fun activities from morning to night. 

Fun cruise to take with family and friends. 

And the islands were as always very beautiful to visit. 

I've been cruising with NCL for many years and it had been approximately five years since my last cruise. I was a bit concerned about some of the reviews but still went with my previous experiences with the company. I was not disappointed. Their service-price-quality is absolutely the best in the industry. I highly recommend it....The all inclusive liquor package is phenomenal, not to mention the food.

My husband and I just got married and for our honeymoon we booked the Norwegian Sky Cruise. This is the first time we have ever been on a cruise so we don't really have anything to compare our trip to, but we had a great experience with the Norwegian Sky Cruise and are definitely wanting to book more cruises in the future with them. The cruise was like a huge party everyday and they had a complimentary liquor package that came with this cruise which was pretty awesome! Also the staff is incredible! Everyone was super friendly and wanted to help out to make the experience even more of a delight! Our stateroom steward Melvin was amazing b/c the first night of our cruise he made swans on our bed made out of towels and it didn't stop there. Every night we got back to our stateroom he had made another animal on our bed out of towels. We did however leave a $20 Play-Station gift card in stateroom 8230 and are unsure if there is a way to have it mailed to us, but overall, my husband and I enjoyed the cruise a lot and cannot wait to go on another cruise! 

In all, we had an extremely positive experience on this cruise.  Service was excellent.  Food was plentiful and great.  I did feel the drinks were watered down a bit.  The ship, although old, was very clean and kept up nicely.  The entire staff were courteous and accommodating.

Overall value for money is good with the all-inclusive package.  Monetary figures are known in advance.  The NCL Sky had a good mix of on-board activity and choices for on shore excursions.   Food was adequate in the open/non scheduled time frames.  The specialty eating areas or scheduled, were 1 grade up in quality.

Friendly staff.  You get what you pay for.   Overall Good Experience

we enjoyed the Norwegian Sky very much. The entertainment was excellent. Everyone was friendly. I have 2 complaints. The lighting in the cabin was not bright enough for putting on makeup. We also were not overly pleased with the food. We've had much better on other cruise lines. We did enjoy ourselves and it was nice to have drinks included.

Just imagine going on a cruise and going up to the bar, get your drink and no sea pass required. You can order 2 at a time and no one putting a time jar in your face.

Smaller size ship than the mega ships so no long lines to see entertainment or wait at bar.

With all the plusses you will have some cons. The food is mediocre at best, and variety is similar to am old cliché, you can have any car you want as long as the color is black.

I loved the ship, the cleaness. I have to say that the service was not outstanding even when we were tiping the waiters. Yet the fact that this ship is all inclusive compesate everything. Certainly I will go again. Loved it!!!!!

IT WAS GREAT! LOTS OF FOOD AND DRINK.  GREAT PARTIES AND GAMES.  THE KIDS PROGRAM WAS EXCELLENT AND MY SON THAT IS 10 YEARS OLD REALLY LIKE IT.  THE STAFF AT THE KIDS CLUB WAS EXCELLENT AND HE WAS ABLE TO STAY LATE FOR A SMALL FEE FOR THE EXTRA HOURS.  SAILING OUT OF THE PORT OF MIAMI WAS A LITTLE ROUGH BUT AFTER WAS SMOOTH SAILING AND WE NEVER FELT THE BOAT MOVEMENT.  THE BAR TENDERS ALL AROUND THE SHIP WERE ALSO VERY GOOD AND SERVED ALL THE LIQUOR YOU WANTED.   THE ENTERTAINING STAFF AND ARTIST WENT OUT OF THE WAY TO BE THE BEST THEY COULD BE.   IT WAS FULL OF FUN AND LAUGHTER. 

cruise was OK, our son and daughter in law made the cruise better by taking the same cruise and surprising us on the ship--food was just ok, entertainment was supposed to be good, but most of it was late night (1100 start) and if you didnt stay up till 1 am or so, basicall no show...booze package was free, that was probably worth it...had dinner at Cagney's, which was excellent, but of course ala carte...no sit down lunch, buffeted you to death..main dining room for dinner just ok, nothing special, lobster $25 extra...Nassau a bust, but try Lukka Kaili instead of Senor Frog for a change (pretty pricey for small plates)..private island nothing special, 2 bars, didnt stay long enough for the food if there was any..wife and daughter in law got off the tender before it left the ship, too rough,,never received the cake promised us..overall, I wouldnt cruise again on NCL, and this is our second time on NCL, but the first time was 25 years ago..will stay with Princess

We had a wonderful experience using cruise.com. Cindy Kaufman was our travel agent. She was so helpful and understanding. Every time I called she promptly got back to me. She made the travel schedule easy to understand. Our flights were changed and cancelled. We almost thought we would miss the boat. I called the Cindy and she did the busy work for me while I was frantic in the airport. The cruise was fun, entertainment great, main dining food very good, polite staff. This short cruise attracted a certain clientele that made it inappropriate for young children. Other than that we enjoyed our selves so much that we scheduled our next two cruises while on board! 

Norwegian staffs were all so friendly and diverse people working. Never had such great customerely service until the cruise. One thing I would say to the cruise is to have pepper flakes and Sriracha!

We had a really nice time. The rooms were great, there were plenty of places to relax and get away from the crowds, and there was a lot of activities to be had (if you like karaoke or piano bars or night clubs). The food was mediocre in the sit down restaurants and at the buffet, but the a la carte meal at the French restaurant was worth the extra dollars. The staff was courteous and attentive. I would definitely travel Norwegian again.

I'm not sure why I didn't expect this to be 24/7 drinking, but it was. We choose to drink here and there and in between enjoyed the people watching of everyone else who'd been drinking. Once or twice we encountered a person that was a little obnoxious but overall that was not the case at all. 

The food wasn't bad, it was decent. The drinks were strong! Which most people enjoyed. I wouldn't say this is the right cruise for anyone looking for serenity, but if you have some fun bones in your body- try it out! We had our most fun watching everyone doing the things we'd never do ourselves haha.

I was very surprised that the walking deck was also where the life boats and smokers were located. On other ships that pulled into port beside us in Nassau their exercise deck was on an upper floor. The Sky's decor is dated. The food, (except for food I paid an additional fee for) was just ok. It LOOKED GREAT, but tasted incredibly bland. I was also disappointed that most of the "live" musicians were playing/performing with background pre-recorded music. Even those in the lounge areas using real instruments had recorded/preprogramed/fake drum tracks. The tracks made the live musicians sound "canned" even though they weren't. I would also liked to have been able to catch more than one show a night. If I went to the early show, I wound up late to the later show. Scheduling these events seemed to overlap.  The volume of all musicians seemed excessive, actually way way too loud. I will cruise again, but probably not on this ship. 

Our recent trip on the Norwegian Sky was our first cruising adventure. We had a great time. The ship was beautiful and well cared for. The food was amazing and the service was beyond compare. We enjoyed the Shore excursions to the National Park on the Grand Bahama island and the private island was really cool. The beach was crystal clear and the activities were well managed and a great deal of fun. We will go again as soon as we can.
