It was lousy. I prepaid the gratuity then was billed $20 per day per person for tips....WTF???

Small but beautiful cruise, amazing staff, great experience

I would rate this experience mediocre just because the staff was absolutely amazing!

Overall we enjoyed this vacation with our friends but would not book this ship or class of ship again. It was a very expensive cruise and we did not feel we got our $ worth. We had reservations about booking an older smaller ship through Norwegian however we really wanted to go through the old lock system and there are very few ships to do this itinerary. It was a once in a lifetime destination trip but the accommodations were lacking.

Overall great time and fun excursions. Always something to do, or can just relax and watch the sea and sky.

Who is nice cruise but we had a few days there in the beginning that was very rocky at sea. Rough waters and I have a small ship. That’s not too good. I guess I won’t travel in February play Cruise. Lol

Short…and windy. Not the best but not the worst cruise

We celebrated a friend’s 40th birthday on the Sky in February 2023. Locals to South Florida, we were hoping to find a ship that would be ideal for future weekend getaways that wouldn’t break the bank… the Sky, alas, isn’t the solution we were looking for. This was my 3rd voyage with NCL, and my girlfriend’s 2nd. For point of reference I’ve also sailed with Celebrity and a cruise line no longer in business. I have future cruises booked currently with Celebrity, NCL, and Virgin. First off it has to be noted that NCL naturally can’t control the weather, and a lot of the negatives from this trip come from an itinerary that changed from Freeport and Great Stirrup Cay to a day at sea and Nassau. However, NCL are in control of your enjoyment in lieu of these changes and I feel if this has happened on any cruise I’d been on previously, it wouldn’t have been a big deal for the most part. Freeport isn’t exactly renowned for being a great spot (I’d just been happy to tick it off the list) and on a vibrant ship with lots going on, I would’ve probably taken a sea day over going to Nassau again. Another thing - it’s been said before that any cruise barring disaster is still a good time, and I agree with this. We did have a good time. However, there was a lot of disappointing factors that stopped it from being a great time, and a 2 night vacation that costs $1,500 for two people really should be great. It’s not pocket change and you have a lot of quality options for a weekend at this price. When looking at short cruises that leave from this port, there really isn’t much of a price difference between the Pearl, a ship I’ve been on and enjoyed before through Alaska, and the Sky - so the Sky needed to really pull out the stops to match a ship that offers a lot more. This is a hard task, but not impossible. Sadly the Sky feels limited by its smaller stature, rather than embracing it. What could be an ideal, intimate ship for adult couples instead feels like an attempt to do everything the larger ships of the fleet accomplish, but falls flat and lacks its own identity. With a refurbishment only a few years ago, nothing is likely to change in the near future. Some people love the Sky and the Facebook group is full of accounts singing its praises and saying they’ve sailed on it multiple times. Even if luck had gone more our way I still can’t see this being our opinion personally. Despite the food onboard and service quality (altho feeling understaffed) matching what I expect from this line, I just can’t think of anything unique that the Sky has to offer. It’s a genuine shame.

Celebrity and Royal Caribbean are still our first & second choices of cruise line, but Norwegian certainly is quite good....especially the staff.

Ship was not the best on food choices and entertainment. Loved all the ports and that’s the main reason for trip

Would recommend this crew and ship to everyone. It was a older group of passengers and we are in that age group. Everyone was friendly, we was a very laid back time and nobody was in a hurry.

Me and my family went on Norwegian Cruise for Christmas and it was trash on so many levels. One of the days we didn’t get to get off the boat they cancel the first stop and they refunded us $20. The Day we went to the Bahamas and everything was closed snd they were doing construction. Like this place shouldn’t even been a stop. It was so pointless. Not to mention a crew member stole my expensive shoes out of my luggage. Im pissed and Upset. I did a lost and found claim and they said it takes 10 days but they put item not found a day later. Like did yall even look or do yall allow ppl to steal only people around our things were workers. Smh The food was gross. I literally ate bread and water. My son got sick I contacted the ship clinic and they wanted 150$ just to see him and wanted extra money for meds. Thank god I was able to nurse him back to health. It was so freaking cold. It was ugggghhh I want a refund back. The rooms were small no room to move. False advertising!!

The ship was decorated beautifully for the holiday! The crew members were all very helpful and nice. Food & drink selections were great. Small boat so extremely easy to navigate. Bliss lounge, the casino, and Stardust Theater were my favorite places to go in the evenings. Holiday show was spectacular! Very peaceful and quiet most of the time so it was definitely the perfect getaway vacation from the cold winter storm back home. Loved it!

Room smelled so bad. Boring ship unless you sit and drink.

First cruise with NCL would deffently go again. One bummer we got feeling bad late last afternoon night wasn't sure if it was just too much sun and fun or. Yeah was the Or made it almost 3 years with out catching covid and we got it. Who knows where or what glad it was last night and not in the middle of the cruise. Not blaming the ship or NCL just happened

We truly enjoy our journey to Bahamas. The cruise has diverse and entertaining activities at night. The staff are fantastic and very friendly. I had a blast every day in daily and night activities. Sonata music group and Latin (Mango group) were terrific!!. However, shuttle buses and procedure to return passengers to the airport was a mess. There were about 500 passengers in line outside under a temperature of 90 degrees, waiting for only 2 buses to transport us to airport. It took us 90 minutes to be able to ride the shuttle bus. Cruise personnel refuses to return the money, and customer services didn't help. Phone customer services sent us to the website we did the cruise reservation with even when we did the shuttle bus reservation inside the cruise. It seems nobody from Norwegan Sky personnel did care because the cruise trip was already over. There were a group of 4 people in front of us who money was returned, however they refused to cancel out the reservation done and have fully refund. Totally disappointed!!

Fantastic solo cruise on a small ship. Met excellent people from all over, and the staff was awesome! The destinations were mostly just ok, but overall had a good time. The food was the worst part of the cruise. (Main dining and buffet).

Loved the Sky perfect size for my husband and I. Just a nice getaway!

We feel this was a great experience for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. This was a smaller ship, so even the staff felt relaxed and mingled more with us. We would definitely cruise on the Norwegian Sky again, because it holds a place in our hearts now.

Loved the refurb, hated the weather during the second half of the cruise. But, the staff was awesome and we enjoyed most of our trip aside from Mother Nature.
