We feel this was a great experience for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. This was a smaller ship, so even the staff felt relaxed and mingled more with us. We would definitely cruise on the Norwegian Sky again, because it holds a place in our hearts now.

Every eating venue we frequented was top notch. We LOVED the relaxed atmosphere of both the main dinning rooms. We did not feel rushed through our dinner at all, like we have on other cruise lines. Every time, lunch or dinner, a lead wait staff came around to each table to check on how our meal was going and if we are enjoying our cruise. We appreciated these small gestures.
Onboard Activities

Hot tubs were adequate. There were a lot of choices in the fitness center. The spa service we chose was okay, not really worth the price we paid. Next time I would use the money for something else, but glad to have experienced it once. We did a couple trivia, but did horribly. It did make us feel a little better when the staff could not even pronounce half the words. LOL!
Entertainment

The shows were, meh! Just something to do on the ship, but very underwhelming. The DJ? Lets just say he could use a lesson on what is trending now for dance music.
Service and Staff

The wait staff were excellent!! They brought our dinning experience to another level, so I really applaud them!! The bar staff were a hit and miss at times, but they were always attentive. I think we had a ghost for a room steward, because we never saw him but our room was cleaned twice a day. LOL! We felt that this ship had the most genuinely kind staff than any other ship we have been on.

Layout and design were perfect for this ship. The ship was very clean and well kept.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was a bit small for a balcony, but then again it is a smaller ship. There were only two of us and it was a bit tight getting around the cabin. There was not a lot of room for storage, so we had to get creative because we did not want to live out of our suitcases. Overall, it was clean and served its purpose.
Ship tip
This is a small ship, so if you are use to big ships, you might want to scale down your expectations a bit. Go on with a clean slate. Expect to relax and do things at your own pace. It is your own choice if you want to make this a great vacation or not.
We did a culture and food tour through a third party company. We ate a lot and learned a lot about the history of this area. We bought some souvenirs at the straw market, but we think the prices would have been more agreeable if we went later in the day. Just saying.
