SHIP WASN'T FANCY BUT WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN.

very disappointed in this cruise. we have been on royal caribbean before and had exceptional service. every single person was friendly and did everything they could to make your trip enjoyable. this boat seemed (with exception of a few) like they hated being there, it was just a ho hum job and they did not care whether you had good service or not. lines were long, you could not ever get to a hot tub, food was underpar overall compared to the last cruise we were on. One of the ports was Freeport , nothing special to see at all. was a wasted port. Fishing trip was a disaster. rough water and no fish! Best part was seeing Atlantis on Paradise island. Weather was cold and windy. Wasn't able to swim except on last day on private island and then it was crowded and water was very cold to be in. Our sheets were supposedly changed but had stains all over them and when they came to change them they had to go thru 5 sheets before they could find one that was actually clean with no stains! If I never had anything else better to compare with I might not know but the overall service,food, friendliness of staff and attention to details were poor at best. Will not go back on NCL again. The taxi drivers had more personality than most of the waitstaff!

I would and have advised anyone I talk to about vacation to take this cruise. There is nothing I can say negative about it. Service, people vacationing, were the best. Had a blast everywhere. Food unbelieable!! Just Loved it!Loved it! Intend to take this cruise many more times. Enjoy. Janice Catalfomo

Never want to recommend to anyone I know. Workers were contractors, so they feel no responsibility on their works. I had problem with my ticket, but workers on the deck has no knowledge on it, only they could say was "call customer center". The customer center kept saying " Mail us a letter" I was there in the deck before boarding, but how could I mail a letter? And how could I get a help if I mail a letter? I told them I' need immediate help', but no one responded clearly. Finanlly I sent a letter, and I got a reply one month later. This is most terrible travel experience I ever had. And never want to even remember.

For my first time ever on a cruise I could not have asked for a better ship and staff. If you were bored, not impressed with the organization, or couldn't find something to eat...STAY HOME....its not the cruise line its you. The meals were abundant, fresh, flavourful, anytime of the day!, just excellent. The entertainment was well organized and the range of entertainment would satisfy all ages. I am already looking forward to booking my next cruise with NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINES, they made my first expierence so memorable and fantastic I will be booking with them for ALL my cruise needs.

I took the 3 day Bahamas cruise out of Miami back in January 2009 and am planning on booking a "quick weekend getaway" again this summer. The ship is wonderful - even though the Norwegian Sky is one of their older ships, it is every bit as well maintained as their newer ships like the Norwegian Pearl (which I cruised on in March of 2008). The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Nassau is a nice first port of call and the Great Stirrup Cay (the private island) has a beautiful beach. Anyone considering a quick 3 night cruise should give this a try.

Very dissatisfied compared to two previous cruises (RCCL & Carnival). Nassau was nice. Private Island only accepted "unlimited sodas" at the main bar. I'm not one to expect caviar at a popcorn price - see my review of the Carnival Inspiration. We took both cruises in the same vacation.

We took this twice (once in December 2008 and once in February of 2009). The ship is nice and clean and overall we had a great time. If you do the dolphin excursion, go directly through Atlantis and save yourself a bunch of walking by taking a very very cheap cab ride there!

Good cruiuse, to enjoy with the family, and the only thing that I don't like the food, every day the same food in buffet but the restaurants was good.

Same food every day on buffet and lots of hotdogs and hamburgers, Whatever you do, if you eat in the Palace or Crossings, you better have 2 hours to eat your meal and be prepared for a 10-15 minute wait for a cup of coffee and God forbid if you want a glass of tea,

I went on this ship when I was younger. It wasn’t my favorite from all the ships I had sailed on but its was a fairly decent cruise. I honestly cant say i’ve had a bad cruise with NCL.

This ship was great. Meet some awsome people we will always consider as friends. Food was good entertainment was great. Night life was pretty cool. Will cruise with NCL again

This was our second cruise. We really enjoyed ourselves. Everything was very nice. We enjoyed the balcony room alot. Staff was very helpful throughout the entire cruise. Food was excellent in the dining rooms, so we didn't feel the need to try out the specialty restaurants. Guests staying in balcony room were able to have breakfast in the dining rooms Sat and Sun. That was a nice surprise. The weather did not cooperate this weekend. The winds kept us from going to the private island on Sunday. We were still able to relax by the pool and on our balcony during the day.

Staff not as friendly as those on other cruises we've taken before. Food quality and selection not as good.

We received a really good deal on the balcony room. We are previious cruisers and have been on RCCL, NCL, and Princess. We have no kids and are 38-42. We went w/ a friend (49) and her daughter (24). Had a great time overall even though we could not anchor at Great Stirrup Cay. We made the best of it and the cruise director quickly made a revised "daily" w/ new activiities for this onforeseen "at sea" day.

for the price we paid it was worth it, even if the food was like a bad buffet restaurant

Gas prices are down so the fuel surcharges should be much lower!!!!!!!!

the ship was redone before coming to fl' nice ship for sure it was clean , staff were nice . dinner was perfect no rush , allin all i,ve used 3 different lines for the money you get more on this cruise than the others i,ve booked with.

Hello All Future NCL Sky Cruiser's: I will start by saying this was my sixth cruise and my first with NCL. This was a last minute getaway for my 9 and 12 year old children and it was their 1st time on a cruise. I read many reviews on the NCL Sky and I felt people were being outrageous with there comments. Well I should have taken their advise. The staff was Great, and the ship is one of NCL oldest but in excellent condition. Now as for the food which may be important to some and not to others. The buffet needs a make over and A new chef, better planned menu and a lot more season not just salt and pepper. Hamburgers and fries during the day time is not what people are paying for. I'm not sure about your taste in food but don't waste your time having dinner at the 11 floor buffet at all, go to the main dinning, the food is very good there. Last, I would like to know why this ship this size have only one ice cream machine with hundreds of kids wanting ice cream and don't forget adults eat ice cream as well. I just returned back on 11/7/08 and I'm online writing the reviews while its fresh on my mind. I'm also booking another cruise as well just not with NCL. I rate this ship a 4 out of 10. Going back to Royal and I'm sorry I waited to the last minute. Royal is the best for your hard earn money great food, great service, and great ships. Cruiser from New Jersey

This was our first cruise. The staff was great and very helpful. The buffet was ok. The restaraunts were good.Could use some variety when boarding the ship and going to Stirrup Cay- as far as food. You can only eat some many hamburgs and hotdogs. Drinks could use some "punch" to them, especially for as much money as you pay for them.
