I took the 3 day Bahamas cruise out of Miami back in January 2009 and am planning on booking a "quick weekend getaway" again this summer.

The ship is wonderful - even though the Norwegian Sky is one of their older ships, it is every bit as well maintained as their newer ships like the Norwegian Pearl (which I cruised on in March of 2008).

The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Nassau is a nice first port of call and the Great Stirrup Cay (the private island) has a beautiful beach.

Anyone considering a quick 3 night cruise should give this a try.

Have only done the buffet, but the food was very good.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
No shortage of things to do onboard.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very friendly staff.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is not one of the mega-cruise ships, but is still a very large ship and very well maintained furnishings and cleanliness.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Clean, comfortable and well maintained.

Pros: Recently refurbished ship, great activities, great food, great staff

Cons: None

Recommends Norwegian Sky? Yes!
