plenty to do . staff great,  buffet was very good .  Gained 10 lbs i  think .  but it comes off quick .

casino was very good to me . Great Stirrup cay was awesome , The buffet on the island was really way more than expected free of course.  snorkling saw a manatee and millions of fish on the private island that made my trip . played and won at bingo . The shows were unbelievable. Stayed on 10th floor . the 11th was buffet and pool ,hot tubs ,bars  just walk up the stairs and party time . The breakfast buffet really good  . Would we come back . YES we are .

This was the best cruise I have ever been on. I went with my parents, sister (13) and brother (11). It was an amazing experience. The first day (Monday) we boarded the ship very early, around 11:30. I would highly recommend this. There were no lines for anything and we were past the tickets, luggage, passports, etc. thing in 15 minutes. Then, they take your picture and you are able to walk on board! When you walk on, there is music playing and tons of baloons and there are workers dancing and welcoming you. There is also a worker spraying hand sanitizer on everyone, which I loved. We were on the boat at about 12 pm so it gave us 5 hours before we set sail. We had a nice, relaxing afternoon by the pool. For the muster station drill, everyone reported to their stations and workers immediately after checking in brought families with children into a big room for areas for children to sit down and not get fussy. This was a great idea. We set sail at exactly 5 pm. Since I had been in the pool, I took a shower. It was pretty small, but that's to expect. I shared a room with my brother and sister and it was great because there was a pull out couch and two twin beds. My parents room had a queen size bed and a pull out couch. It was comfortable. After getting ready, we went to dinner at The Palace. It was very good! After eating, I went to Entorage, the ship's teen club. (I am 16) it was great! The two workers there, who went by Ace and Sticks, were great with us and were very friendly. We played games and I got to meet a lot of people, which was one of the highlights of the cruise. The second day(Tuesday) I woke up and we were docked at Great Stirrup Cay. My family and I got on the first tender to the island and spent the whole day there. It was great. There were tubes, jet skis, parasailing, and an Eco- Tour which I would recommend for little ones. There were also cute little shops there. Lunch was included that day. We had to be back on the boat at 5 that day. I went out to dinner at Crossings, again very good food. I went to the teen club and we played games, talked, and went out after. The third day (Wednesday) was Nassau. Most of the people went to Atlantis, but we did not because it was overpriced and WAY overcrowded. So, we took a tender to Blue Lagoon Island. It was amazing there. The beach was beautiful. There were floats, kayaks, water slides, pedal boats, and everything you could imagine for kids. There was also snorkeling which I thought was amazing. I would recommend the snorkeling for kids 8 and up because walking out is very rocky and slippery. But once you get out there, it is amazing. You see so much! Lunch was also included with the price that day. There was also a Swim With the Dolphins and Sea Lion Exhibit but we didn't do it because we swam with dolphins on Thursday. We were back on the boat at 5 and we went to the Longboard Bar for a small dinner. Then I went to the teen club and then to Norwegian Sky's White Hot Party. I could easily say it was the best night of my life. Starting at 10, everyone on the boat dresses in white and heads to the Pool Deck for a party! It was amazing. The fourth day(Thursday) was Freeport. We took a bus ride and then a boat to a little island to SWIM WITH DOLPHINS. It was amazing. You have a free swim with the dolphins for about 10 minutes, then you watch them do tricks, then you teach them tricks, then you take pictures with them. It was a great dolphin experience, but if you do go do not hang on the dock, there is fire coral which makes you very itchy. The workers were good about it and put vinager on you and it went away. Back on the boat at 4 and it started raining at around 5. Went to Crossings again for dinner. Went to teen club. Woke up the next morning (Friday) back in Miami. Cried. It was the best vacation ever and I hope you choose the norwegian sky for your next vacation!!!!!

The cruise was perfect. And the service (the crew) was marvelous.

We were in an interior room in the 9th floor, and it was good enough! We´d take it again!

Ok but not service oriented

Overall we enjoyed the cruise and got what we wanted out of it. We mostly hung out on our balcony and just relaxed. Other than a *very* funky hallway odor, which was apparently being worked on the whole trip, the ship seemed very clean.

The staff was amazing....didn't matter which staff member I talked to they were all amazing! First cruise I took that the Captain, Cruise Director and other Staff Members were there at disembarkation to thank you for cruising with them!! I was so impressed by their presence!

The ship was in excellent condition. I can't imagine that it could be better. The crew was always helpful which I think is the signature of commitment to service.

The ship was great right from the beginning. Great welcome, it was very clean and organized. The back of the ship ended up being our favorite part as it has a nice environment. Front of ship was cool too.

My Girlfriend and I had an amazing time on this cruise. Staff was extremely friendly, food was amazing, and good drinks. This cruise was very important as I proposed to my girlfriend! Couldnt have been better. Only thing i would have changed was more nightlife for younger crowd. They have one white party scheduled but besides that its dead at night

I was thrilled for this trip but comparing to other ships our group of 22 were disappointed with the food, poor service poor variety of activities for kids, bad attitude of bartenders at the pool bar, poor variety at the cafeteria, not many healthy options at the restaurants and it took is three hours to eat at the restaurant. Some of the employees have a very bad english and is very difficult to communicate.

     We had a great time on this cruise.  The ship was clean and in good condition.  We all four loved the "Freestyle" dining on board.  You could eat when you wanted to and choose what restaurant you wanted.  (That's one of the things I didn't like about our first cruise.  I didn't want to sit at dinner with people I didn't know and make small talk.)

     The private island, Great Stirrup Cay, is beautiful and we loved it.  We rented a small cabana for the day.  It was perfect!  It had a ceiling fan, cabinet with beach towels, four lounge chairs, a table, four chairs, and a mini-fridge.  The fridge had a large bowl of fresh fruit and bottled water in it.  There was a tray with three different kinds of salsas and a tray of tortilla chips.  They kept our chips and salsa filled all day.  All those things were included in the price of the cabana rental.  The cabana was just feet away from the beach.  There were plenty of lounge chairs on the beach too.

     Lunch was provided by the cruise line and was really good.  It was a buffet that was about a five minute walk away from our cabana.  The restrooms were clean and nearby too.

     When we were in Nassau, we booked the "Charm and Beauty of Nassau" shore excursion.  It was three hours of sitting on a tour bus and listening to a tour guide yammer on and on about how beautiful Nassau is.  It had some really nice areas and pretty plantlife, but not enough for three hours.  I thought the ride would never end.  My daughter and I got off the bus at a restroom stop and walked back to the city.  The other two in our group enjoyed the bus tour.  It was just too long for people that are used to being more active.

     Freeport was very industrial and not very pretty.  It was kind of sad to see the abandoned hotels (after hurricanes in 2004) that still hadn't been refurbished.  The little shops where the ships docked were cute and colorful.  We were able to buy cheap jewelry, t-shirts, and other trinkets for super cheap.

This has been the worst cruise I have ever been on from the very beginning first off our room reservation was canceled because the site went down when I went to pay for it so i had to call and wait on hold for 45 minutes and talk to 3 different to have a new room arranged and payed for... For the list of problems while on the cruise  1. the sheets were noticeably dirty when you we walked in the door the first day of the cruise they had huge yellow stains on them that could be seen from the door so I don't know why they were even put on a bed and not noticed or housekeeping just didn't care. it took over an hour to have them come changed 2. The electrical socket in the bathroom was hanging out of the wall from the wires and sitting on the bathroom sink.  Live wires exposed next to running water thats real safe.  Took maintenance over 2 hours to come fix that. 3.  There was a flier left when we arrived regarding beach towels and a $25 charge if they are not returned per towel at the end of the trip.  We were never given beach towels so for the third time on our first night i contacted guest services and they tried to tell me all rooms have them and had to argue with the person to bring towels up also took about 45 minutes. 4.  The purpose of waiting on the beach towels was so we could go enjoy the hot tub on a colder windy night which your hot tub was no warmer than 80 degrees the entire 3 night cruise we checked every night so we never had use of the HOT tub and asked multiple people about it and no one had an answer to why it wasn't hot. 5.  Guest services tried to be nice the second night and send chocolate covered strawberries for the problems when arriving only problem was 2 of the strawberries had mold on them but its the thought that counts I guess. 6. Half the ship including the hallway outside our room by the elevators smelled like the sewer the entire cruise people were walking down the hallway with their shirts over their noises. 7. The cruise information TV channel and the daily events flier both advertised that you would be able to pick up purchased alcohol from the gift shops from 9pm-11pm the last night of the cruise when I went to pick the alcohol up I was told that it was a misprint and has been wrong for the last 3 cruises and I would not be able to pick it up until the morning which I did not have time to do since we had to leave first thing in the morning to return to work later that day after the gentlemen was extremely rude I spoke with the manager of the cruise who than got us the bottles in a sealed box around 12am that night so we didn't have to go in the morning which was nice but still does not make up for a misprint on your end or the extreme ruddiness of the man working in the gift shop. 8. Last but not least when I returned home and open the box that the alcohol came in it was not the bottles we had ordered both bottles were incorrect which I'm not sure how that happen because the manage had a copy of the receipt.

It was a great cruise itself but we will never cruise in march again due to spring breakers a lot of drunks passed out in hallways puking in hallways very loud at night but otherwise alright

I've recently cruised the Norwegian Sky on March 17th,2014 with a returning date as of March 21st, 2014. With the knowledge of this being my first time ever cruising the ocean on any ship, it's difficult for me, at this point, to present my views in comparison to any other. However, I must say the staff is remarkable. Their extremely polite and go to great extents to make your sailing fun and enjoyable. Crew member Petrus Raymond "Beach Bar" high professional and pleasant really extended himself in advising of the tourism of the ship along with shows available through my voyage. Hats off to Mr. P. Raymond for his great efforts. I'm certain I would sail the Norwegian Cruise Lines, as well as, recommend to others. This ship is exceedingly romantic and elegant throughout. Although, there are many things that can be added or upgraded to this particular ship such as an additional pool/ jacuzzi to another deck. Additional/separate forms of entertainment for kids which does not allow them to be in the same settings with "adults" would definitely be a plus for me.

This ship was spotless at all times. We were totally impressed with the food, entertainment and the crew. I can't complain about one thing. The only thing I would either change or improve on is the availability and price of the drinks. They are pretty pricey on the boat. Otherwise cruising is great!

The brand and customer service was GREAT! I love the price and the experience. The only downside was the age of the ship and awful smell in certain parts of the ship.

Las maletas nunca llegaron al Sky, las embarcaron en otro barco y fue muy incomodo, gastamos mas de lo que teniamos previsto y apenas nos dieron 100$ a bordo por habitacion, eran 2 habitaciones y eramos 5 personas. Juan Aranda de Guest Service fue el que nos hizo mas llevadero el viaje

If you like to cruise in style (and space!), the Owner's Suite is the best! Lots of room and the balcony with hot tub is really nice. The pics on the website are not updated and gone is the garish, '90's looking carpeting in the suites. Now soft tans and browns are much more modern.
