WE HAVE A TRIP TO BAHAMAS FOR 4 DAYS. OUR ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN. THERE ARE MANY ACTIVITIES FOR EVERYONE. VERY GOOD RESTAURANTS. SHOWS, GAMES AND PROGRAMS WERE VERY GOOD. WE FELT VERY CONFORTABLE AND SATISFIED. THE BEST WERE THE BEACHES IN BAHAMAS. WHITE SANDS, CLEAR WATERS. THE INTERNET SERVICE IS EXPENSIVE. POOR VARIETY IN THE FOOD COURT. IN GENERAL, THE PRICE WAS FAIR FOR THE SERVICE Y AMENITIES.

MY OVERALL IMPRESSION OF THE SHIP WAS BREATHTAKING

We are Florida residence, and we have been cruising for many years, but we have never had a worse experience. The service was not only bad, they were right down rude, with the exception of one waiter in the martini bar (and no we are not drunks). The free style dinning left so much to be desired. We felt as if they punished the clients if they did not "upgrade" and pay for the special dinning. The waiters bordered on harrassment on the deck during the day, and seemed angry if you did not buy a cocktail. All we can say is choose any other cruise line except for NCL.

Overall we had a great time going on vacation together as a family. We took five family members and stayed in two rooms 3 and 2. The rooms were adequate for our needs. The food was just average and more often than not the only food available was the low end buffet. the wait staff was unpleasant in the restaurants and bars. Menus in the nicer restaurants seemed to be identical to each other. I would like to have seen more of a variety.

The ship needed to be updated. the public bathrooms were not very clean.

I was very impressed with the ship. It was the smoothest sail I've ever been on. I never knew when we were sailing unless I looked out the window.

The ship was colorful and clean. Some of the dining rooms were a little hard to find.

The ship lacked pizzazz. I thought it was quite average . Nothing was WOW.

So I went on the cruise with my husband and I am 5 months pregnant. For the part of the cruise - it was fun and I would do it again. The food was okay - believe it not there really was not the best selection. There are really only 2 buffets that are open all the time - and they always had the same stuff. There are 2 restaurants to eat at that are free, with no extra cover charge. The buffet is one, and then the Crossings is another. We ate at the crossings 2 times. The creme brulee' was awesome, and the carbs were really good. The protein parts of the meals were okay. It was definitely not designed for a pregnant women to go and stay hydrated. On the web they said they offered lemonade, and juices, milk, and tea for free. Well upon arrival it seems that the juices (cranberry, and orange) were shut off and taken away at 10 a.m. when breakfast closes. There was no lemonade at all, and only tea available for free. As a pregnant women you are not supposed to drink a lot of tea because of the caffeine - and their tea was so strong you had to add water. Basically - if you didn't want to pay 2.00 for every ginger ale you had, you were stuck with tea or milk. And the water - which pregnant women in other countries are only supposed to drink bottled water - was 5.00 a bottle. Watch out also - at dinner they will ask you if you would like bottled water with your meal or tap, and if you say bottled... then boom - 5.00 added to your fee even if it's a glass or it's a free meal. Also - be careful when walking off of their boat onto the small boat that carries you to their island called Stirrup Cay. The top part of the boat has no floor gripping or hand rails when you walk along it... I saw an elderly man slip and bust his head on the benches in the walk way. The benches have nails and hooks coming out of them and one of the nails went right into the side of his eye and he needed stitches. I have seen that if you do get hurt on the small boat or the island - it is pretty bad. They sent the housekeeping crew, and the sushi chef to come and address the fallen bleeding man. After about 8 minutes of guests (my husband, and an American paramedic) helping the man up and addressing him with a towel and keeping him alert - the crew nurse came upon board. Although about 9 other people who worked there came to look and did nothing. I recommended that they get some rubber for the boat - but i am sure they are not rushing to do that. Once you are off the smaller boat they have a nurse and area for you. Another thing for a pregnant women - bring your own bottled waters and keep them with you. There is a long walk from off the boat at Nassau to the cabs. It was so hot and so far that I almost got dizzy. I had some water and was fine. If you are going to Atlantis - it was nice, but I did the aquarium part only. It was neat and if you go straight to the hotel you save about 20.00 a person. It was smaller than expected and my husband was disappointed - but I liked it. It was 30 a person for the 2 part aquarium. They call it a 3 part - but really 1 part is walking to the 2nd part, and is very small. They have a game show called the quest - it is for adults only and you will see girls in thongs, girls french kissing each other, and guys dressed up in bras. The newlywed game was very funny - and be cautious of bingo - no joke the cheapest card is 30..00 the 2nd night and 40.00 the last night. The cruise was smooth and you can eat where you want and with whom. The French restaurant is great but they charge 15 a head. The steakhouse is 30 a head and we didn't make it there. The state room was bigger than expected, and they had a good size bathroom. Which is great for a pregnant women to get in and out of. Overall it was fun time - the cabin was bigger than expected and the staff was always very friendly. If I could do it over I would stock up on drinks for me, skip the quest game, and not play the bingo. Hope this was helpful.

Never had sailed on the Norwegian Sky everything was great staff very helpful and friendly We flew to Miami and that afternoon the airport was closed for bad weather needless to say we almost missed the ship boarded at 5:00pm

As mentioned, the food was tasteless and quite inferior. It made no difference what we ordered, everything, from the appetisers to the entres, from the fish to the beef, nothing tasted good!!! This coupled with a very tedious and not well orchestrated embarcation and deparcation process made for a very poor experience. My wife and I did find the entertainment very good and the ships crew and staff courteous and helpful. Nassau was fun as it always is but the private island was no fun due to not having enough umbrellas to protect again the sun. We are not "grumpy" people, however, this cruise line and or ship ranks at the bottom of the ladder relative to the other cruise lines and their ships.

The Sky was a beautiful ship with a excellent crew. Room was always cleaned by Tony who had a wonderful personality. Dazzles was the place to be for the nite party life...Dj was good as well

Embarkation and disembarkation very pleasant, appreciated full breakfast and leisurely check out of cabin. The staff were friendly and courteous, always ready to go the extra step. The cabin was roomy and very clean. Food was excellent, we never had any trouble getting seated in a restaurant, particularly liked not being tied to a set time to dine.We have been to Nassau on many other cruises, it was a bonus to visit Norwegian Cruise Lines private island Stirrup Cay, much better than having just a day at sea, particularly if you have children in the party.

the cruise was great we had great service the free style was very nice in that we could eat when we wanted the ships rooms were very good everyone was willing to help us when we needed it overall great cruise

The food was very good, the music never stopped, staff was very nice and the comedy shows were hilarious.

The ship was outstanding, clean and full of life 24 hours a day.

Phenomenal cruise. I would definitely recommend it and do it again.

Great Cruise, lot of activities, highly professional staff, However: Big Con was the loud and omnipresent loud live music. There was hardly any place to just sit, relax and listen to the waves

This was my first cruise and I liked most of the entertainments on the ship. The ship was clean and everything was like new. The service was great.
