Review summary

This is my 1st cruise in 20 years with NCL. An avid cruiser with 250+ nights at sea. I had just completed a European cruise with a competitors cruise line to board NCL Sky. This is a smaller ship that has been very well cared for! Extremely clean with an unbelievable polite, caring and helpful staff. Stateroom small but efficient. Room steward was one of the best I have ever had! Please note that balconies do not have patio doors! Porthole with a door as balconies were added later. Food was very tasty and presented very well. Buffet had less food choices than other cruise lines but was very good. Deserts were excellent! All dining staff were unbelievable! Entertainment was great, casino was good, bars were very nice. Overall I really enjoyed my NCL experience. I was disappointed as we were unable to dock at 3 ports due to weather but that was not on NCL! Embarkment and dis-embankment was fast and efficient. Thank you NCL

After reading reviews I was a bit leery but that quickly changed. The main dining food and service was wonderful. The buffet selection was small but again the food was tasty and excellently presented. All food was flavorful and carefully prepared. This is coming from a cruiser that usually hates cruise food!

This is a smaller ship so not a lot of activities. Pool, Fitness Room etc small but ok.

Ship Quality

Ship was a bit quirky, balconies were added so one doesn’t have a patio door. You still have the original port hole and a door with a small window. The ship was kept exceptionally clean at all times.

Cabin / Stateroom

Perfect placement of stateroom for a lot of ports. Exceptionally small but efficient. ! Only 4 drawers so plan of hanging all of your clothes except undergarments! Ask room steward for more hangars which he immediately supplied.

Took Hop On/Off Tour. Don’t let the 1st few stops put you off. They have long lines to reboard. Beautiful City with a lot to see.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise. Sky is turning out to be of favourite ship, 3rd sail booked for next year. Main dining room May this year was excellent night after night, could not be faulted. Unlucky you missed those ports😣
