Review summary

This was probably our 10th cruise. This will be our last. Three ports were cancelled at last minute (resulting in more sea days). Felt "stuck" on a boat. Most disappointing was the food. Most of the time, food is the star of the cruise. The bland, small portions and "weird interpretations" (e.g. cobb salad with no actual lettuce). The premium specialty restaurants were good. Wish we booked more of these in advance. We were so disappointed with one of the port cancellations (Martha's Vineyard) because it was a bit too windy to tender the boats to get to shore. The cruise director said he has never been to Martha's Vineyard in three attempts (cancelled every time). Why put that on the itinerary then? It's an island in the North Atlantic - it's always windy! Thumbs down!

Food was terrible. Both the dining rooms and the buffet served flavorless, small portions. Did not have one tasty meal in 10 days (other than a couple nights where we paid extra and dined in the specialty restaurants).

Smaller than normal with almost zero storage. Had to keep most our clothes in our suitcases.

Ship tip

Find a more updated ship. Bring extra money to dine in the specialty restaurants. Eat off the boat as much as you can.

Agree with you on the food. Terrible, overcooked meat & fish, no favor, lack of spice. We did enjoy the rest of the cruise. Cagneys was alittle better. Lobster was overdone.Thought the entertainment was good. Service great. Bartenders made a good drink. Sorry we missed three ports but have no control over Mother Nature.

Probably best that this will be your last cruise, because it sounds like cruising really isn't for you. Luckily, there are many other types of vacation options out there for you to try.
