Review summary

This cruise in my opinion is for adults only.. i took my kids and there were not enough activities for them. They didnt want to go to the youth camp so activities and entertainment for them was very limited.. the arcade machines were Not free.. had to pay between $1.00 and $5.00 to play a game.. entertainment was geared for adults.. overall the drink all inclusive was good especially for those who like to drink. I did like the free style dining with no times.  So we could eat at what ever time we wanted that was a plus. Down side is that both restaurants offer almost the same items. Food quality was ok. Servers were really nice and attentive. Overall it was good. Just wish they had more things for kids/teens if they choose not to go to the youth camp. My kids wanted off the ship by day 2.. so if ur looking to take your kids look for one that offers slides or other types of entertainment dont do sky if u have kids with you for sure..They close most activities games outside by 830pm..(pin pong, golf, shuffle etc) also the gym the would close at 11pm.. Downside since I like doing excerise very late at night. So if its just adults you will have a great time I dont recommend for families w kids.

It was pretty well kept

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was small.. didnt like that the bed that u can transform to king sits right under the pulldown beds so if u sit up u bang your head.

Ship tip

Go to the pool early in the day so you get clean water.. after ppls go in w so much sun block it murks up the water.. yuck.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Park close by and dont pay for the high price port parking fees. We parked at primier parking and they drove us over and picked us up. Paid about $45 vs $80 at the port.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

This island was ok..it wad not a pressured as nassau.. more laid back.

Nassau, Bahamas

I hate the fact that u get bombarded w ppl trying to sell you crap very expensive.. very pushy ppl trying to sell and get you to buy all their crap. I'd rather stay on the ship for this island. I did a excusion this time and it was better than waking around the island.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Nassau is FUN, and NOT a hassle. If you wear your Rolex and your bulls-eye Brooks Brothers shirt, you're wearing a sign that says, "I'm rob-able!" If you venture "over the hill" you are getting off the tourist trail. Don't buy that emerald necklace from a guy wearing a raincoat inside the Straw Market. There are beaches and places to enjoy that AREN'T on Paradise Island.

I don't know one line where the arcade games are free (because my BF would be all over that!). I agree Nassau is not the best port, we did a quick walk and back on the ship. If you had time in port it seems like Atlantis is the only decent excursion for most everyone.

My kids have always used the kid's areas as a "base" to meet up with new friends they've made, then go hang out. But then again, mine are older and as stated in another comment the ages of yours aren't specified. We've sailed on 3 different cruise lines (Carnival, RC, & NCL) and have yet to discover one with free arcade machines. That's just an expected expense when we sail.

I just came off sky a couple weeks ago n was not impressed at all. Not much to do, and small ship. I've always sailed on carnival and think I'll stick to carnival from now on.

My and my sister were never mean on kids camps - we want to 1 event on 1 cruise, although we were happy having sun need a pool and evening shows Always depends from kid to kid we don't all want the club

All kids activities and parties are done through the youth camp so if they didn't go then there's your problem my kids have loved the camps in other ships and beg to go back sounds like your kids really missed out

You did not indicate the age of the kids. I thing your TA or advisor would have mentioned the things for kids to do when you spoke to them.

I have also heard that Nassau is a real hassle.
