Be sure you make reservations early. Get to know the ship and where you'll want to be before you board, as activities you discover while onboard might be booked up by time you learn about them. Also, visit the telescopes on Deck 8!

One port was changed after booking the cruise (Vigo replaced Porto). The excursions have an unreasonable price in comparison with a similar ship (Bliss, same company) that we experienced the same year. For example, for an excursion in France we paid almost 200 dollars per person. Anything extra in the ship is too expensive.

For indulge get there before opening. Check dining times as they change. Use food republic for seating when using the buffet

Be willing to be flexible about how you vacation. For example, if you don't want to fight people at the buffet for breakfast, go when they open as opposed to later in the morning. It will make for a more relaxing cruise. Be flexible!

Skip this ship. This was our first and last cruise on NCL. We talked with many guests who felt the same. Many NCL loyalists on the ship begged us to try any other NCL ship.

If you want to see the shows in Syd's or Improv get in line early, or you will be standing. Dismemberment is pure chaos. I recommend either getting off first thing, or waiting to be last. Go enjoy breakfast and get off later when the line dies down. Our line wrapped around deck 6 and even part of deck 7....and they were still calling colors!
