The Prima is unfortunately is lacking in too many areas to be regarded as a ship we would return to. We have been on the Breakaway and did not experience such an odd lay out. The itenerary was exceptional. But it doesn't make-up for the ships defecientcies

Look for outside vendors for your excursions. NCL is ridiculously expensive. Try Get You Guide or Viator.

If you don't have the drinks package, you will have a difficult time getting your caffeine fix. The coffee cups in the buffet are tiny and there are no take away cups. Bring your own mug or your best option will be to pay for Starbucks (which, I suspect, is what they are trying to drive passengers toward).

The itinerary was the star. I would choose this ship over a older ship but I think it’s a better value in a warmer climate

READ the Freestyle Daily. It has important information. Some people were upset that they didn’t know information, which was clearly listed in the daily .

Get your drinks and go to Indulge Food Hall about 25 minutes before they open. You'll be able to find a table, then.

Getting just one drink package for the group is enough to obtain free drinks for everyone. Go to the buffet (Surfside Café & Grill) very early, as it gets crowded quickly. Booking a room with a balcony is definitely worth it (even for trips to Norway/Iceland); we were able to enjoy stunning landscapes and even spot whales from the balcony. The ship's free Wi-Fi only worked on Instagram (in my case), so I was able to save money while still staying in touch with my loved ones on Insta.
