Review summary

We have been on several cruises and would rate this one at the top end. This cruise has a relaxed dress code for those that don't want to have to dress up. The buffet area is much smaller and the selection not as extensive as some of the other cruises we have sailed. If you hit the timing right, there won't be a huge crowd. We found that eating breakfast at Hudson's was perfect for us.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The lines were very short and the staff was friendly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We loved Hudson's for the atmosphere. We loved Indulge as you got to choose several small plate items freshly cooked. The food was delicious. We only grabbed a couple of snacks from the buffet, never really had a meal there. We were surprised that the basic drink package didn't cover bottled water. There was a $6 upcharge for that!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There were a lot of activities. We were on the lazy side and didn't do a lot of them. But we engaged in Bingo, and Deal or No Deal and found those to be fun, even though they were a bit expensive.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The entertainment was good. We are sorry that the Donna Summer Show was cancelled, but the replacement Angelique was awesome.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We enjoyed our cabin steward, Marti, always provided what we needed. The people we interacted with her friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is well maintained at all times. We didn't see any areas that needed attention.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin is roomy, the balcony had 2 chairs and a small table. There is more than enough storage space and the bathroom is very roomy as well. The cabin was clean. My only wish is that there was a small night light in the bathroom, so you don't have to turn on the overhead light.

Ship tip

Bring less than you think you need. :) Enjoy all the activities, dancing, playing games, etc.

Disembarkation

We choose to carry our own bags, the process was very smooth. I wish I had a final print out of the bill sent to m email address.
