Review summary

Overall a good cruise. Room size was good but not done right. Bathroom was small for a suite. Food was good but not all was what I expected. Buffet is too small..beautiful ship but more like a hotel. Not big open spaces like the other ship classes. Embarkation and disembarkation could have been better organized. You could have a 9:30 time and get off with the self assist. Ask 2 people the same question and get 2 different answers. Ship is more expensive. I liked the ship and as always enjoyed the cruise but undecided if I would book back on the prima anytime soon. Great staff.

Donna summer was good, enjoy the comedian dj cooch. They didn't have a 2nd show.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Service and staff were all great except for our room steward. Usually our room stewards are great but our guy was either new or over worked. Saw him once. Ran out of soap. Took the bathroom glasses and didn't replace so I had to look for the cart to get. Our butler was good. Hosts and servers were all friendly and professional

Ship Quality

Beautiful ship. More like a hotel. Tough to get around at first. No outdoor track to walk around or jog. Only walk around was on 8. You could walk into a dead end and have to go around. Main pool was out for the first half of the cruise. 1 elevator was out the whole cruise. Common areas were clean

Cabin / Stateroom

Good size. Had separate space for bed. Balcony was reduced due to slide going through it but was bigger than regular balcony cabin. The problem is lack of chairs. 2 loungers and 1 little table that couldn't be shared if 2 people were on the balcony..if you wanted to lounge, fine but you couldn't enjoy the balcony together. Asked for chairs, they didn't have. As a suite you have a butler and tablecloth dining in the room if you want but there isn't a table or any chairs in the room for a tablecloth. A bed, a sofa bed and a vanity stool. Room could sleep 3 or 4 but couldn't seat 4 in the living room. Sofa was uncomfortable as a seat, was better as a pull out sleeper. Plenty of usb connections to charge devices. Bathroom, for a suite, is small. Other ships club balcony suites are better. I'm a big guy and was a little snug in the shower. Not cramped but not a suite bathroom.

Ship tip

The layout is different from all the other ships. It's not as open in the atrium. It's more like a hotel. Takes a little longer to navigate through it.

Ports of call

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

I love Bermuda. I did a self excursion to tobacco Bay. I got there for free and only spent on food and drinks which was a 3rd of the cost that ncl offered. Had to walk 10-15 minutes each way from the ferry.

New York, New York

I don't consider NY as a port of call.

Disembarkation

In previous cruises, suites and above were supposed to be taken to the luggage area. This one, they took you to the gangway, and not very organized
