Service and Staff

Waitstaff was great! Room was unsanitary upon arrival but I always clean, bring my own linens & face towels so my review in this area is neutral. If you're not the type to chemically clean, please inspect e everything. Guest services aboard this ship was the worst I've ever experienced. Couple next to me did everything they weren't suppose to do from having parties on their balcony til sunrise, smoke and engage in sexual activities on the balcony, physical altercations where they threw items at each other, threw things on my balcony, etc. Several cabins called to complain one night and Guest Services sent officers where they gave my name and cabin number as one of the ppl who complained. The couple threatened my life and the clown working behind the desk thought it was funny and laughed at the threat. I had to file multiple complaints and Norwegian still has not responded.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The carpet throughout the ship was the BEST plush carpet I've ever walked on. Finishes were also the best I've experienced on any ship. Not the first time I've sailed on Norwegian. I've had cruises on Bliss and Encore during their inaugural year, but Prima is in a category of its own. Hated the food on Bliss and Encore was just okay. Don't recall the decor on either or the entertainment. But I will never forget Prima for the Best and the Worst experiences. - Food: one of the best, restaurants and dining halls; ate at 4 restaurants for dinner -Layout & Decor: probably the best -Color Scheme: my personal favorite -Entertainment: you're a fool if you miss the Donna Summer show -Bars: my 3rd or 4th personal favorite If Guest Services were par at best, Prima would rank in my top 4 or 5 best cruise ships, professionally and personally.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin overall was great. More than enough closet space. Water temperature in the shower was on point every single use. Beautiful design, layout, etc.

Ship tip

If disembarking from NYC, book your return flight at or after 3p.m. Absolutely the worst disembarkation ever

Disembarkation

If disembarking from NYC, book your return flight after 2:00 p.m. Worst disembarkation ever. We organization, coordination, information, etc. We stood in multiple lines for hours! Got in line at 7:40 & off the ship after 12:00 p.m. A lot of ppl missed their flight, including me.

I went on the Prima the day you got off, May 14. They were letting us board by 1100. I don’t remember hearing about people still on board the ship.

@bubbles60 I have booked other people on Prima since May and I have a group booked on Viva in 2024. Didn't let my experience prevent me from being unbiased.

I am sorry the people around you were disruptive. Also, sorry, guest services did not respond as they should. The Prima is a great ship to sail on, and I hope you will try again and have pleasant neighbors.
