Review summary

Beautiful ship. Wonderful staff. Expensive cruise. We felt cheated. No late night fun and food. This cruise put you to bed early. They nickel and dime the whole way. Any worthwhile activities to do you had to pay extra for. Our main pool was closed for 4 of the 7 days. Entertainment was weak. I'm an avid cruiser but this is my 1st time on Norwegian. Probably my last.

Ship tip

Don't expect much. Beautiful ship and wonderful staff. The cruise was expensive. Food closed early. Entertainment was weak. Whole floors shut down early. If you are looking for late night fun and food this is not the cruise for you. The main pool was broken for 3 or 4 of the 7 days.

I was on this cruise. The local was open 24 hours and the pour House and disco in the theater was open late every night. The atrium was still hopping the night we were in the casino late. It wasn’t really pool weather but there were also the two infinity pools. I liked the modern ship and I can’t wait to go back on her!

The Local being open 24 hours is more than you get on a lot of other cruise lines. They generally seem to have late night pizza until 2-3 and nothing after that until breakfast.

When we were on the Prima last month, the complementary Local Bar & Grill was open 24 hours, with quite an extensive menu.

Yes, sounds like a honest review of the Ship. There were good things and many bad on our Cruise.

Wow what a different experience I am getting now. I’m on the 11 day transatlantic to Iceland. I think my expectations must be much lower. I don’t feel nickel and domed for anything. One night my husband was hungry and he got a corned beef sandwich at 11PM. If I want to play bingo or deal or no deal I do. You can also watch deal or no deal without participating.
