In general, loved the ports of call (minus Greece). Kotor still is a thorn in my side. Really Really disappointed in how NCL handled the tendering operation and their lack of empathy or owning it. Just overall poor communication. Would consider other cruise operators first. Our RC experience was better.

Trieste, great town. Wish had more time there. The port was walkable, albeit a bit long, doable from our hotel. The check in process ok, not long, nothing spectacular or outstanding.

We talked with a few other folks onboard and agreed the food was just ok. Breakfast buffet was the same every day. Lots of choices, it all just seemed like was online to long and hard and dry (overcooked). The specialty restaurants were good. My favorite was the Brazilian steakhouse. Dinner in the main dining was ok as well. Meats were typically overcooked. O'shannan's always got our order wrong or missed something. None of the food service staff stood out. Just ok. If we had the option to eat on shore, we took it.

Our room service guy was ok. Noticed our bedsheet had a huge wine stain. So somewhat question the quality and why someone didn't catch it. No one stuck out as providing great service.

best part of the cruise. Loved the shower size. Water temp kept fluctuating during shower though. But in general, loved our room.
get your own cab and make it to the cable car! We paid $60 (NIC tix for cable car) for round trip. View was well worth it. Get up early and you can see the church on the rock on your way in. Not sure worth the visit or time visiting if you catch in way in. HOWEVER, NCL totally mismanaged the tendering that day. If you didn't take an excursion, you couldn't get off the boat until nearly noon (losing half your day). Then, we waited 2 hours in line to get back as the process was taking so long and they didn't have enough tenders. We left 90 min late that day. Very poor on NCL part.
Did our own thing that day. Would have nice if we knew ahead of time about the shuttle to the center of town. We got our own cab to the train station and headed to Pisa on our own. Then ventured further on to Lucca. Great day! (not enough time to do Florence any justice, plus we spent 2 days prior on our own)
Would have been nice to know about the shuttle bus from the port to the train station. Just happened to discover AFTER turning down a cab (thank goodness)
