Review summary

Worst cruise ever. Food was bad ( in dining room) drinks were hit or miss, depending on which bar you got it from. Entertainment was non-existent, and the disembarkation of the boat with customs and the last day were very frustrating. I do NOT recommend this cruise at all. Just fly to Bermuda, you'll be glad you did.

Embarkation

Embarkation was underwhelming...not really a celebration at all

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Main dining was disgusting, Royal Caribbean is worlds better. Specialty restaurants are very good, which they should be because you have to pay for all of them. I think they purposefully make the main dining rooms gross so you spend the money at the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Shows were few and far between, ZERO fun activities for kids that were actually things kids wanted to do. Rock wall was closed the whole time, they even closed bowling due to "weather" which was a joke... the weather was awful the whole week and it was open on far rockier days. They did have Karaoke, but when the same 9-11 year old girls are allowed to monopolize it for hours, it's just not a fun experience.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
what shows? They would list " variety" show... what does that even mean? With such bad weather ( not in the cruises control, I know...) you would think they would have increased the entertainment. It was rubbish.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Again...very few and far between, and boring...

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Staff are fantastic, if anything they are "too" chatty- BUT still fantastic...

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Ship was ok... surprised it still looked so dated as it was refurbished 2 years ago... our room was nice, a club level aft balcony, but everywhere else in the ship was underwhelming. I don't recommend this ship to anyone.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Location was great, and the room was very nice. I do highly recommend this room. BUT be warned.. they clean the deck above you every night between 3:00 AM and 5:00 and you can hear the tables being moved around... not a deal breaker, but it was disruptive..

Ship tip

My advice? Don't sail this cruise. Shorten your trip and just fly to Bermuda and stay, it will cost you MUCH less money and you'll have a better experience ( and I LOVE cruising...been on 10. You couldn't give me this cruise for free.)

Ports of call

Boston, Massachusetts

3 out of 5
Boston is cool!

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

2 out of 5
kind of boring... if you are going to a beach you're fine, but the port itself is not lively

Bar Harbor, Maine

3 out of 5
very pretty, but considering it takes you 2 hours to get off the boat from customs, you miss a lot of time ( it's a short port visit)

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
We were last for everything because we were an aft balcony... you have to wait in your room till your called. Really annoying.
