Review summary
This was my first cruise and I was not disappointed in anyway. Our cabin was wonderful and had a lot of storage and our room steward took care of everything and left cute towel animals. All of the the specialty dining was amazing. La Cuchina was my favorite though. The filet at Moderno was to die for and the raspberry crème brûlée was best thing I have ever tasted in my life :-) Cagney’s was absolutely wonderful too and we were treated like royalty in all places! My favorite place during the day for good regular food and a really good breakfast was O’ Sheehan’s. O’ Sheehan’s was very comfortable and easy going with the Seahawks game playing on Monday :-) I packed way too much clothing and really only needed comfortable clothes and layering pieces for the excursion. My best advice for a cruise to Alaska, would be to spend more time watching the scenery and relaxing instead of taking part in all of the activities inside the boat which distract you from the reason for the cruise in my opinion. I am not taking a cruise to gamble or play games, I want to see wildlife and the amazing scenary :-) I can’t wait to go again!Embarkation
