Review summary
We had a great time exploring Alaska in the various ports. The ship had a lot of fun activities and a wonderful, friendly staff who were always ready to help. The excursions were quite expensive but since we figured this was a once in a lifetime trip, we splurged. Every tour guide was super informative and we felt like family by the time we were done. The only things I would change would be to add some dairy free options onboard such as almond milk for those of us with dairy issues. Also, with all the active excursions and walking during the day, it would've been helpful to have the cruise parties start a little earlier than 11 pm! We were too tired to dance by then.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Lotus Garden Asian Restaurant
Beautiful ambience but service not that great although we were there close to closing time. Food was okay.
Onboard Activities
Shore Excursions Desk
Very helpful and recommendations were all great.
Bowling
After spending thousands for the cruise, thought that the charge of $7 per person for a 2 alley bowling place was a little over the top.
Body Waves Fitness Center
Seeing a whale while working out on an elliptical, priceless!
Reception
Quick and courteous every time.
Hot Tubs
The hot tubs were PACKED and I never saw anyone adding chemicals. I didn't try it!
Basketball / Volleyball / Tennis Court
Son loved it! Hit it everyday.
Entertainment
Stardust Theater
Comfortable and easy to see from any seat although early shows were standing room only.
Bliss Ultra Lounge
Cool ambience. Lots of karaoke if you are into that sort of thing.

Ship tip
If you don't buy the internet package, bring some walkie talkies to help family communicate. Wish we would've.
