Review summary

Embarkation

5 out of 5
fabulous. cant complain about anything!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
clean! excellent food. for that many people on board, did I say clean!? always buffets. no need to go elsewhere. had a hard time sampling everything with a 7 day cruise. a lot of food

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
weather was too bad to rock climb i thought and also for the pools :(

Entertainment

4 out of 5
some performers were good others average. still enjoyed them

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
room steward did his job. always asked us if we needed anything else. he was on top of his job. 2 bartenders that stood out were Mary Jane and Rustco (Rusty). These two were fabulous. Excellent service! had a very good time chatting with them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
clean indeed! seems like the crew was always cleaning which i do not mind at all (even if they are in the way a bit). i will take CLEAN over anything any time.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
expected a little bigger area between the 2 beds but understandable.

Ship tip

dont over eat and ruin your next meal. plenty of excellent food to go around!

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

4 out of 5
no problem at all except for the port tax. $ hungry Washington is to blame, not the cruise line

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
amazing view.... can say this on all ports i believe. we did dock a ways away from the town... just an unlucky docking spot it looked like. needed a shuttle to get into town. still no problem at all.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
easiest port to disembark and then pow!.. you're right there in town. did the bus going up and took the train down. lasted about all day. was a blast and eye opening experience to see what the old gold miners had to go thru. wow

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
very short jaunt to town. can see most of everything from the port

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
another great view from the port. never got off the boat. was a bit under the weather at this point. took it easy. visited Victoria before anyway.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
fast and easy. had time to enjoy the last breakfast then disembark.

What no king crab? LOL Glad you had the best time you could! I don't care much for Alaska so I can't wait to start hearing that the Pearl has visited someplace else.
