Review summary
My extended family all have restaurant experience, and when we go on cruises we enjoy eating through the options available to us. The saddest part of this 7 day cruise were the dining room dinners. Not only could they not differentiate between a well done and rare steak (they sent a whole table grey steaks when nobody ordered more cooked than medium-rare), but they tried to appologize and on giving them a second chance to make it up to us, they still could not cook a steak less than grey.
If food is a concern, don't cruise with NCL. If you don't care for food, the boat has nice amenities, activities, and bars.

You are completely out of your mind, or possibly color blind. Your claim is COMPLETELY baseless--and I have the video to prove that there is PLENTY OF RARE BEEF served--particularly to ME. I had rare steak at Moderno, I had rare steak at Cagney's and rare lamb at Le Bistro. I ate rare steak in Summer Palace. The only problem is with hamburgers--all gray and overdone to my taste. If your report is the least bit accurate, my guess is the Executive Chef was on vacation during your cruise. Check out my videos and see if your experience mirrors mine.
