Review summary

Though being negative about some areas hoping they will or would improve, we had a great time. It rained 4 days out of 7 which isn't anyone's fault but it does effect your vacation, concentrating people on the ships inside venues. If your a karaoke buff get to The Cavern line early, it's done 10:30 to 11:30 pm most night with 2 nights 9:30 to 11:30 pm. And it's the only place that karaoke is done at. Book your cruise and enjoy..

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Great, walked right through at our scheduled time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The expected quality was delivered at all venues.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Too many people for the room sizes used for activities, i.e. the Cavern, Beatles show & kareoke done there, packed out SRO. Swimming pools are too few & too small.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Footloose was great. DJs ok. Other bands ok.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Though being understaffed they all performed great, hard workers and polite. Saw my room steward 3 times buy our room was always clean. No mire towel animals at night, again understaffed.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Poor retro fitting in 2019 from the Asian market to the American market. The ship was clean and had the typical NCL layout but rooms were too small and getting last minute reservations is virtually impossible.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great room. Good forward vision off the balcony but blocked reward view due to ship design, but we didn't care.

Ship tip

It's crowded if it's full. It would have been perfect during covid when the ships were only 50% full. But realistically NCL would go out of business at that rate. So just be ready for full ship.

Ports of call

New York, New York

4 out of 5
Typical port, clean but crowded. No excursion

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Not crowded, just a long walk. No excursion.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Typical to get 4K people off a ship, swiped out, find luggage, scanned through customs and spit out on the street to get picked up.
