Review summary

We had an amazing trip which included viewing the glorious fall colors on the east coast! The pace of the excursions was not hurried - just right and we enjoyed each one! We especially enjoyed the trip to the Alexander Bell Museum - we learned so much about this brilliant man of Baddeck! This excursion is must for everyone!

all of the complimentary restaurant's food items and serving staff were excellent except for The Local - too salty food and barely warm food - staff was excellent. The specialty restaurants had excellent food and staff as well.

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed the Spa on board but I was disappointed with my husband's treatments - he had the Men's Grooming package and I thought that this would include getting his nose and ear hair clipped - but it did not, so I was disappointed with that. My facial was divine - she was an excellent aesthetician. We also saw one act in the comedy club - this woman, cannot remember her name, but she was not funny at all, so we left. We enjoyed the ambiance of the Observatory Lounge - just wonderful. We also went up to the 17th deck and walked around the area - very interesting.

Entertainment

We enjoyed the group Sensation - they played near the pool the very first day and also in the Sugarcane Mojito bar and the Atrium - excellent!

Service and Staff

I wrote a note of commendation for our room steward - His last name is Nada - he was so pleasant and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Alos, all of the serving staff were extremely courteous and professional, and right there is we needed anything - they were amazing! One of the bartenders in the Mojito bar was awesome - I wrote a note of commendation for him as well - his first name was Rodney.

Ship Quality

We saw that there were people cleaning at all times which was important to us to see handrails wiped down constantly and the staff was very pleasant in their asking guest to sanitize or wash their hands - we felt very safe. The bathrooms were all very well taken care of each day - never saw an unclean bathroom.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was great - the mattress though was quite hard and my husband's shoulders were hurting and sore - our room steward tried to get a comfortable topper but they were all being used, but he took a mattress pad and folded it up and put in under the sheets where my husband slept and this helped my husband a lot!!!
