It was a wonderful, relaxing time. I would definitely sail on this ship again. My favorite!
Embarkation

No problems. It was nice to be escorted onto the ship without having to wait in line.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
I'm not saying the food was bad, just not always my taste. There was always something I could find that was acceptable. Portions were so huge, all I could think of was what a waste. No one can eat all that, or at least not many! Breakfast in the Haven restaurant was fabulous. The menu for Taste, Savor, and Manhatten are the same, just the decor is different. We ate at The Local; that was good. And the American Diner was very good.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We didn't really participate in too many activities, just relaxed by the pool mostly. Hot tub and pool was nice.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The performers were very talented. Footloose was really, really fun. Elements was okay. The performers were great, but that style of show, magic etc, isn't really my cup of tea. It was loud!
Service and Staff

Everyone was so friendly, absolutely everyone. Our butler, Helbert, and room steward, Arta, were fabulous.
Ship Quality

First time on the Joy, and I thought the ship's layout was fantastic. It was very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

We were in room 17100, right beside the Haven lounge. It was a wonderful room, loved it! Layout was wonderful. Huge shower. King size bed, and then another bedroom and another bathroom. Plenty of room to stretch out. Tons of storage...almost too much!
