Review summary

It was a great first cruise. Our excursion in Cabo was changed, but they refunded us. We took a water taxi to lovers beach and had a great time for only $30! Ensenada we did some shopping, but the vendors were aggressive. We won’t get off the ship for Ensenada next time

It wasn’t as bad as I expected from reading others experiences. I think we waited 1 1/2 hrs to board.

The food was delicious everywhere we went! We had Cagney and le bistro as our two speciality. Ate at savor once. Excellent as well. We mainly ate at the buffet and the local.

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed the comedian and the glow party. We didn’t get to see the Beatles act as we waited over an hour for it to start and we decided there was other things we would rather do. We went to the art auction. That was interesting, but I would never buy anything. The raffles at the stores was fun.thats all the on ship activities we did.

Service and Staff

The dining, bar staff was excellent. I didn’t come across a single rude employee. Always smiles. The specialty dining at Cagney and le bistro where exceptional in service. It made it a wonderful experience for us. This category gets a 4 because housekeeping staff lacked in this department.

Ship Quality

The ship was clean. The lay out was good as well. Our cabin on the other hand was so dirty! I was shocked since I knew they clean twice a day. How could it be this bad? I won’t go Into detail as ncl Did address and handle this issue. So I am very happy with what ncl did, and we will continue to cruise with ncl because of their handling our issues with the room.

The mini suite was a nice lay out. We liked having a balcony, but didn’t use it enough. Bed is very firm. The bathroom is a good size. The cabin was not clean.
