Review summary

Our third time on the ship. Always a happy crew. I think this is because of exceptional leadership from the senior staff. The next cruise team and the super shopper Richard are among the best in NCL, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean.

Embarkation

Very smooth. We were on a land tour prior to the cruise. As a suite guest, a NCL rep comes on the bus and escorts you to check in and another rep escorts you on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Speciality places were the best. Moderno twice, Cagneys once and Le Bistro twice. All excellent. Suite guests enjoy breakfast and lunch in Moderno which is worth the cost of the room.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Small ship so would not book for this area.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Shows for the most part were very good. Not the best we have seen but far from the worst.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Senior officers on this ship are exceptional. Among the best and we have been on 35 cruises or more.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very well run ship and in great condition for its age.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very nice room with some of the best views on the ship.

Ship tip

Get an aft cabin suite for Alaska.
