Review summary

I have been on 5 other cruises, including the same Mexican Riviera cruise with Royal Caribbean and this ship is by far the worst. Let's start with the staff. They were constantly rude and not interested in being on the ship. Whenever they were asked something fairly routine, they either didn't know or made you feel like you were putting them out for asking. Customer service and food service were by far the worst of them all on the ship. The food service staff  were annoyed with every order. I was traveling with 3 other people and our orders never came at the same time. We sat for 15 minutes with one order out and the other 2 still in process. When asked about status, the waiter responded with "what do you want?" When we spoke to customer service about these issues, they were just as bad. They didn't want to listen to you and made promises that were not cool wed through on. Even the hotel director on the ship was rude and uncaring. The horrible staff made the experience on the ship very unpleasing. Other items like the food and entertainment were OK, but nothing special. Many items on this line are an up charge (I.e. room service cost $7.95 for most items). They also say they cater to special needs, but not really. For instance, my sister has a gluten intolerance and was told they couldn't accommodate. When talking to management, they said she had to order 4 hours ahead of time....

In the end, you may pay a couple hundred dollars more on Royal or Holland, but it is worth the money.

Smaller than other lines including the balcony. Very noisy - walls paper thin and you can hear everything.

I have to agree with the OP here. We were on the ship 13-20. Service was sub par. Guest relations were horrific. The nicest person we delt with was the maintenance man. He was kind and so apologetic. But overall with all the cruises I have been on with NCL this one was awful. Yes, we did fill out the paper at the end as well but we all know nothing comes of this.

well... if the question or what e Dr your asking is not appropriate for the time...guest services does not have time for complaining about other staff...that's what the paper is for at the end. If your sister has a problem eating certain things...there are plenty more options for different foods. If you do not like a kid friendly cruise line...then I suggest princess cruise line or celebrity. NCL ALL THE WAY!!😀👍💖

We were on this same cruise Dec.6-13. They only charge $7.95 for room service between the hours of 10pm & 6am. We always use NCL & have no problem. Staff is super nice for the most part the food is good!! Sounds like your expectations are a little too high!! Had a great time!! NCL ALL THE WAY!! (WASHY, WASHY ALL DAY LONG)! LOL☺❤⚓🚢
