The worst Cruise ever!!

We will never travel with Norwegian again, even if it was for free!  What a waste of vacation time and money.  To start with we left the port almost 2 hours late, yes I realize that thngs happen, but everything was late when it came to this ship.  (Jewel)  We traveled 12/24/13 to 12/1/13.

I want to say first of all the cabin boy Edison was great, he was not rude like the rest of the staff on the ship.

The first day on the ship after checking in our freind and us went to eat in the buffet, the food looked dried out and old.  We hardly ate.  The food pretty much looked like that on the buffet the whole trip, and it was cold.  There is a standard temp. the food is suppose to be on a buffet in the USA.  The sit down places to eat had the same food every day.  If you are a big eater then you will be starving in there.  Thanksgiving day was such a joke we went to Tsars, we all odered turkey, it was Thanksgiving, we didn't even get 3 ozs of turkey, and the stuffing if you got any was two coutons put together and that was stuffing, the sweet potatoe was the size of a steak fry and a 1/8 of a cup of corn.  No pumpkin pie on the menu.   The funniest part was my husband order room service for breakfast the 2nd day out and they said they didn't service hot meals in the room, so he said I want a continental breakfast for two, we got half a very same pot of coffee and one danish smaller than a deck of cards.  The Blue Lagoon was a joke, same food every day for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, I order mozzarella sticks and got 3 little tiny ones that had to come out of a freezer.  I order a tuna sandwich and the tuna was sparce to say the least.

Everything in the gift shop was really expensive, they had black Friday and they raised the prices it seemed like.

The entertainment was terrible, very unprofessional, and nothing going on when we were at port.  Other crusises they had a movie or something by the pool.  Very boring.

Bartenders had to get a book to make drinks and didn't even do that well.

The card games at the casino were $10 to play except one black jack table.

We could smell exhaust in our cabin two nights, and it was strong.  It scared me.

They were always late leaving port, or starting programs, just always late, it got old real fast.

We were so glad to get off of that ship for good on Sunday December 1, we almost kissed the ground.

We have travel Royal Carribian and Carnaval, 6 times and we had a wonderful time, Norweigian is the worst vacation we have ever had.  We wish we could get some money back, but we know that is impossible.

So glad to be home!!
