I wasn't prepared to pay the extra money for all of the tours but I absolutley loved the ship and all of the tours I wouldn't do it any other way. I would in a heart beat get on this ship again it had all sorts of amenities.

This is the bigest thing I've ever seen, layed out perfect, crew was warm and enjoyable.....god, givem a day off now and then 10 months without a day off?

We haved cruised many times and our last trip was in October on the Norwegian Sun. What a complete 180 this ship was. Terrible food, waiting times to eat at restaraunts, crowded buffet, lazy housekeeping and several crew members were bordering on obnoxious. The shows were very second rate and unorganized. I would not recommend this ship. I had a great experience on the Sun, so this is not a knock on NCL entirely. Several returning "Latitude" members stated that this was the worst ship they have ever cruised on. Avoid this ship regardless of the great itinerary.

Clean, well kept. Cabins are nice, and a good size for a 12 day cruise. Food was good, not great.

The Norwegian Jade was a nice ship, but was very disappointed in their new Free Style Dining, much prefer the assigned seating. Other open seating dining menu was same day after day. Not very tasty either. Must say the medical staff were great when best friend became ill with the "cruise line flu", and because we stayed in stateroom for 24 hours got $100 ship board credit. Our stateroom attendant was very good. Appreciated him. Room service after breakfast meals were just plain bad, food was cold. Breakfast of cold cereal and breads was good. They should put all smokers in same area. We had smokers on both sides of our balcony room and much of the time could not sit out on balciny for the smoke coming from both sides. Entertainment was okay but not the Las Vegas style used to on other cruises.

the ship was O.K, but the personell needs better training,supervisor often only standing around without doing their job-to supervise,guide,help Entertainment as low as it can be, but there are people who like it.

I have never been cruising before so NCL was my first but it won't be my last. I loved every part of the freestyle cruise. The way you could eat whenever you wanted with whomever you wanted, the broadway shows performed every night, the hassle free on shore excursions, the wonderful staff that made you feel apart of their family, and the price was amazing! I still cant believe how much fun my family and I had. There is something for everyone on NCL and I am so happy that I made the choice to go with Norwegian. Also, the cruise director Jason Bowen was a wonderful accompaniment to the whole cruise process!

we found the ship very clean...the staff were very friendly and helpfull...there are some design and process problems in regards to accommodating the large number of people especially in how the garden buffet room is designed...access restrictions from the pool areas to the upper deck....more washrooms in deck areas would be nice...stardust theatre access from the ends would be more efficient....the aft 12 deck for eating was wonderfull...we ate breakfast there each morning...food was average and good number of selections....some juices and lemonade should be provided all day long and not just water and ice tea!

Very well engineered ship, stable in rough seas,and incredibly quiet from engine noise and anchor chains. Beyond the superficial glitz found on all cruise ships, this German built ship (Meyer Werfs Papenburg) functions so well in every detail. Very impressive compared to the French and Italian built cruise ships (Alsthom and Cantineiri).

A nice ship but the decor seems too colorful. Too many restaurants which requires service charges and the service in the main dining areas are not that great.

i love free style cruiseing! the food,service,ports of call all excellent.whats not to like?

I would never go on a NCL FEE STYLE crusie again, I have been on 7 crusies this was the worse.

The agent mentioned that NCL would fall under our previous cruises with Celebrity, so we new what to expect. The biggest difference with the Jade was the inconsistency in making up the cabin. They seemed short on personnel. On the plus side, it docked at the ports that we wanted and the excursions were really enjoyable. Night time rides serenaded in gondolas in Venice, a great tour of Pompeii and Izmir, Turkey stand out. Sadly, the ships hurry to turn around for the next cruise caused them to take us to the airport 4 hours early.

the ship was clean and nice. the staff was not trained so well as on the cruises we did before.

Overall, my group enjoyed the cruise but none of us wish to return to Israel due to traffic issues and bad tour experiences. I will note again, the professionalism of the ship's officers and their availability to travelers.

It was a wonderful experience, beautiful ship and the perfect itinerary.

Overall this was a wonderful adventure. So much to see and do! Worst part was the long flights to and from Athens

If your thinking about doing this cruise, DO IT! It was worth every penny!

Great ports! Most of the time docked in the city or shuttle out of the port provided. All ports of call are easy to explore by yourself or you can use the local tours or taxis or the ship tours provided!
