Review summary

I love the Haven. Love being spoiled. This ship didn’t come close to having a REAL Haven. I was shocked to see the sun deck empty. But why sit there when you couldn’t eat or drink on the Haven sun deck. No waitstaff at all on the sun deck. Money not well spent for a Haven room.

Not the Have I’m used to. No Haven Lounge or dining. Utilized other restaurant areas that were otherwise closed for breakfast and lunch. No indoor Haven lounge or pool bar service. No outside Haven bar or food service. Not sure why I even paid for a Haven room. I got zero percs other than a nicer room. Extremely disappointed in this ships Haven and would never recommend it. When I complained I received $300 towards my next cruise. I spent over $10 grand to book one room and it was not money well spent. I’ve stayed in the Haven a few times and never felt like I wasted my money. This time it was a waste. Smaller ship did not mean better Haven service.

Ship tip

Stay in a balcony room. Save your money and do not bother with The Haven. It does not really exist on The Jade.

We love the Haven, too but won’t take the older NCL ships because they don’t have a true Haven. Those older ships have huge Haven rooms, though. A little research ( so fun to snoop around!) through pictures and YouTube will reveal what amenities there are.

Oh wow!! Well, that's a huge & very expensive letdown indeed. So sorry to hear!! $300 back seems insulting tbh, when you factor in a $10k booking 🧐😳. Wishing you happy cruising on your next 🤩⚓️😎❣️‼️

First time on NCL Jade and was definitely surprised.
The first cruise ever we didn't fully enjoy. Extremely overcrowded. A lot of children running unsupervised in halls and all public spaces. Not enough staff to clean spills and sticky tables in the buffet. Food quality went down
