Review summary

Excursions were generally great, LONG and comprehensive but that's what we were there for! REALLY WISH NCL would add priority line for Platinum and above, both for Shore Excursions/Guest services desk AND getting back on the ship, especially on Tender days! Feels like a "perk" that should be provided for cruisers with so many days on NCL. And seriously?? 1 bag of laundry PER CABIN!! At least 1 bag PER CRUISER! Husband and wife fighting to squeeze dirties into bag was ridiculous. Other lines provide a LOT more laundry for loyal cruise people.

Opted for "Premium +" and got 4 specialty restaurants! Warning: Do NOT go to Moderno "late"...all meat was way overdone! Not a fan of Lobster Thermador either in Le Bistro. Wish they'd put just plain buttered lobster on the menu instead. Continue to struggle with portion sizes in Main being TOO BIG for me! Wish we could order "large portion" or "small/kid size/senior" portion. Regret how much food waste there was because I just couldn't finish what I was given. New favorite drink is Passion Fruit Lime Cooler in O'Sheehan's!

Onboard Activities

Mostly just pool deck and trivia. So many ports and excursions didn't have much time for anything else.

Entertainment

Elements was incredible!! Loved Nightlife Duo in Magnum's and on pool deck; magician and dancers were awesome. Jade Band was awesome in jazz.

NCL staff and service people are unmatched. Jonna in Shore excursions; our cabin steward, Win; waiters/wine stewards/hostesses - Tephany, Eggi, Timahse; Ben; Dejohn; Marilou; Nigel; Paul.

Ship Quality

The Jade is a perfect sized ship; easy to navigate; everything is easy to find and makes sense. Wish there was mini-golf though. Didn't miss water park at all! An adult section with adult pool and hot tubs would be great. Loved hot tubs are open until MIDNIGHT!

Cabin / Stateroom

Terrific location, even under the pool deck, we never heard anything that was bothersome; Club suite is great size for the 2 of us, and sometimes we bring our daughter, so storage can be a little tighter with 3, but terrific for 2.
