Overall we chose this cruise because it made 6 different port of calls and no sea days. The food and entertainment were ok, nothing really wowed us. Staff and cruise director did there best with what they had. I give it a 6 out of 10.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Quick, easy and well coordinated.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Nothing to rave about it was OK at best. The Asian restaurant was good though.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pool didn't have a 3 foot section therefore my wife who doesn't swim and stands at 5 feet tall didn't get in. the pool depth ranged from 5 feet to 5 feet 11 inches.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Out of the 5 shows I viewed 2 of them were very good the others just OK. a comedy show would have been nice to see. Music on the pool deck was good lots of variety.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
They did there job nothing really stood out. My room was always clean.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Ship was clean, but was lacking the other amenities that the newer ships have.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Room was clean, nice view from balcony. Its closer to the forward section of the ship.
Ship tip
The ship is a little outdated, food is Ok as is the entertainment. they're trying at least!
We arrived the night before the cruise and near the Parthenon there's a row of restaurants and nightlife. The day of the cruise we got up early and viewed the Parthenon which was well worth it but be prepared to climb its steep! You need about 2-3 hours to do this.
Beautiful country, went to see the castle of St. Peters,. Get the combo ticket to see the underwater archeological museum which is on site, might as well. Beware when you sit at a restaurant that has beach access. Make sure you understand how much they're charging you to sit down.
Did an excursion of about 4 hours they took us around to see the sites, it was very informative. we took a bunch of beautiful pictures. Only set back it was crowded, I can't imagine how this place is in July and August.
Very relaxing day, found a beach restaurant called Ephesus and we relaxed, ate and drank all day for $80 (4 People). Used there chairs and umbrella for free.
Nice port, stay away from the cab drivers as you leave the terminal, Go walk past them and into town where the fares are more reasonable. Do the Venetian castle that's close by. Knossos is exhausting an overrated save your money!
Port cancelled all shore excursions on this day and there happen to be 4 cruise ships in port. Massive amount of people in town that day it felt like Times Square!
