Review summary

Overall the Cruise was good. The cruise staff was not remotely as efficient was other NCL cruises. Captain did not communicate as effective as needed when a port was skipped. Food was average.

Embarking was very smooth. Got onboard rather quickly after 12:00 pm.

The 3 stars are for the main dining room. Food was repeated everyday. I’ve been on other NCL cruises and lunch had a different twist daily. Not here. Food itself was good, just limited. Ate at all specialty restaurants in the evening and they were all excellent.

One band was aweful. I don’t even want to name them! They couldn’t play reggae or anything. They didn’t start on time. I finally got tired of trying to give them excuses. The stage shows were very second rate. I’ve been on other NCL cruises and the live shows were top ranking. In this case, it was very cheap and aweful.

The staff was not very good overall. Again, on other NCL, the staff were the best. Here, service improved the closer we got to our last day on the ship. Really bad for a cruise. The service was just ok.

Ship was very clean and well maintained. It’s just an old ship and needs to be updated. Most of the entertainment rooms were too small to accommodate.

The room was nice (as always). The Stewart was very good.
