This was one of the best cruises I have had in along time. The ship and its crew made this the best vacation. Loved the itinerary and 11 days. The Panama Canal is something everyone should experience, the captain was awesome and explained everything and gave us history on the Canal and everything that was going on.

Everyone was friendly, the ships officers were around watching all the employees. Matre D's in specialty restaurants came up to our table everytime, buffets were great and all the people in it.

Best Cruise Director Vincent and his staff were the Best. Best ones I have seen in a long time. Stayed along time at the parties, didn't just pop in for a few minutes like most of them do and leave.

The Jade has the best layout, especially the Buffet area. Never appeared to be crowded. Always love the Great Outdoors area. Love there is still 2 pools with plenty of space.

Just enjoy the wonderful ship. Big is not always Better....
Took the ferry to old town, and was constantly hounded by locals. Where the ship is docked there is a animal sanctuary that is free with beautiful birds, monkeys, anteaters, peacocks, etc. I rated it a 4 just because of that, plus a nice gift shop. Stay at the port, forget the tours.
The locks were awesome, would have rather just stayed on the ship and go thru the remaining locks. We did do a monkey island tour but the bus ride and boat ride was 1.5 hr each way. Rated it a 3 because the monkeys were awesome, jumped on our boat and came up close to us, apparently are use to the daily tours and they get fed.
Took a beach tour, more bus ride than beach...1.5 hr to Beach.....1.5 hr only on the beach...half hour to shop next to the beach (different stop) another 1.5 hr back to port.
1st time at this port and love it. Will take a cruise to Belize just to spend the day here, could have spent 3 days here. Will try the superman zip line next time. Has everything. Enjoyed the swim up pool bar. Pool and Beach are amazing. Lots of shops as well.
Did own excursion to one of the All Inclusive beach clubs. In Mexico you are going to constantly get hounded by the locals. There is a giant free pool with chairs at the port, so if you want to save money just do that along with a very small beach. Lots of shopping in port, has really grown in 1 year since the last time I was there
