Review summary

We've done many cruises and this was not one of the memorable ones. We enjoyed ourselves because of the guests we were traveling with. Most of our party all got sick and went home with an ongoing illness which has not happened to us on previous cruises.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Arrive at Embarkation and onboard in under half hour. Went very smoothly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Very basic food with the same menu daily with very few changes. Quality was average. Dining area very crowded and extremely noisy.

Alizar

2 out of 5

This dining area very crowded and extremely noisy. Could hardly carry on a conversation at our table. Wait staff having to squirm around chairs to get to tables.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We don't do games and not much else to do but just relax in quiet areas which were hard to find. Even the library was noisy re kids playing outside the door. Don't do pools as it's just a chlorine bath and hot tubs were jammed with kids.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Have seen lots better entertainment on other cruises but this was OK.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Not applicable. Didn't realize we were on Spring Break so way too many kids on the cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff and service was excellent. No complaints.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Was almost end of 10 day cruise before I got the ship figured out without ending up in dead ends and having to double back to get somewhere. Not a friendly layout.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Stateroom was OK - very small and crowded but workable. Much more room when bed split into two singles against either wall. Only then able to move around without getting in each other's way. Smallest stateroom we've had on a cruise.

Ship tip

Ship seemed OK but was crowded and not laid out well.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
All ports of call were fine. We had visited many before and enjoyed them again.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Willemstad, Curacao

Disembarkation

Very long and very slow line crawling off the ship.

Agree our inside room was extremely small. We have never had one such as this with many inside room cruises.
